Built Ford Tough

I have had this truck since 2004 and it is AMAZING! I have the 4.6 V8 with 172K miles on it without any major issues at all! This truck has performed perfectly on and off road. I wish the 4.6 V8 had a little more horsepower but it doesn't have as many mechanical issues that the 5.4's run into so I am happy about that. It has been a solid work horse, Daily driver, and off road beast. I would def recommend this truck to anyone I know!

Love my pickup

I got my pickup new with 5 miles on it. I love how it rides and that there is a lot of room in the back seat. My husband has an 08 Dodge 4 door and my teenage kids will only ride in the back seat of my Ford. I have had some trouble with the brakes vibrating and have had new pads and roters put on. I would buy another F150 again

Disipointed with my Ford

Evidently Ford manufactured bad plugs for several years. It cost me $1,000 for a tune up. Ford knows of the problem and even tells the dealers how to fix it but they will not pay for it. Shame on them, now I will buy Toyota's.

Good Truck

I have the 6 cylinder. Great on gas but strong enough to tow. I am very satisfied with my truck. I drove an 8 cylinder as well and was not impressed. Unless you haul every day the 6 cylinder is best.

Awesome truck!!

will put this truck up against a Toyota anyday! very reliable, never had a problem. I have a Honda Civic and this truck and this truck has had to have less maintenance than my Honda Civic.

engine problems

I have 68000 miles on my 2005 fx4 150. It is now in the shop for another failed fuel injector. Ford will not replace them all at once. I also had the timing chain tnsioners replaced at 48,000. This truck is worse the the 2002 fi50 I traded in. Next time I go with toyota.

keep on looking!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned my ford f150 4x4 sc for almost 2 years now. I have just over 48k miles on it. I keep it in my garage and have done my best to take care of it. Things I noticed after having the truck for a while... 1. The cloth interior stains extreamly easily. When you clean it with a mild soap like Ford suggests, it only leaves water ring marks around where you have just cleaned it.I have tried everything to clean this stuff without making more of a mess. NOTHING WORKS!!Just a drip of sweat off a cup leaves a water stain!!! 2.mirrors had to be repalces at 29k.both became loose and would shake when driving. 3.rear power sliding window replaced at 20k. 4.drivers side power window motor replaced. 5. rubber molding around drivers window had to be replaced. 6.rear speakers in the back doors had to be replaced. 7.cd player will not eject the cd any longer. 8. the rear end went bad at 38k. the limited slip went up and made noise and made the truck shake. Ford would not replace..3k outside of warranty. All the other stuff was covered under warrantee except fot the radio and the rear. The radio just broke recently. This has NOT been used as a work truck, and it doesn't even have a door ding just to give you an idea of how I have taken care of this truck. I was upset with the cloth interior immediately upon buying this truck because I like to keep things looking NEW, but with all the other things that have broken on it I really could not recommend it!!!

Wonderful hard working truck

I got one just bout a year back. It has been the best truck ever. Fits everyone comfortably, and is very nice inside. Haul things all the time with no problems. Also, it has been there for me everytime, through any thick and thin i have gotten in. Love this truck.

great truck

I have owned several trucks in my 30 plus years of driving, this Super cab has been the best. Comfort is great, steering wheel controls plus the power adjustable pedals are great and add to the safty of watching the road. This truck is super quiet, most cars that I have owned make more road and wind noise than this F150. Tough truck plus car like quiet. Try one youll love it.
