2010 Ford F-150 consumer reviews

I was looking to replace my 2000 F150 XLT and the rebates and incentives got me looking at Ford again. My 2000 had the 4.6 and just hit 105,000 without a problem with the exception of some slight rust (Wisconsin winters). After testing a Dodge Ram and looking at Silverado's I ventured over to my local Ford store. The look of the FX4 is elegant but understated. Black grill and bumpers (no chrome here) add to the aggressive look of this beast. Add the 20" rims wrapped with Perelli Scorpions and you have a very smooth ride. The interior is so nice, I sometimes have a hard time believing I'm in a truck. The back seat is so spacious I could camp back there. As for it's capabilities, towing a 6,000 pound boat has never seemed so uneventful. If I didn't see it in the rearview I would've forgotten it was there. The brake assist does the job also. All in all, I would purchase this truck again.

I have owned my new F-150 STX since April 2010. All I have to say is I love my truck!!! This pickup beats the competition hands down. You get way more truck for the money then if you went with Chevy or Dodge. Plus you add in the reliability of this truck and it is a no brainer. Chevy and Dodge trucks have a touch more power, however they lack interior room and overall quality. Ford wins by a long shot! Thank you FORD!!!

i love the truck! it is very reliable! and is good in 4wd!!!!!!!! i think that i would buy one for my whole family if i could.

I hate this truck. I made a terrible decision when I was buying it. It's just absolutely terrible in every aspect. Two of my other friends bought the Ram and Silverado. And they both say that they are great trucks. I frown every time I have to drive it. I would rather take the bus. It gets terrible fuel economy, and the engine could use ALOT more power. And that's with the 5.4L V8! I just absolutley hate this truck! You should not buy it. I wasted 40 grand on this junk!! That's my entire salary for the year. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Pulls my boats and snowmobiles with reliability and smooth ride. I don't know what else I could ask for.

I upgraded from a 2000 F-150 4X4 SC long bed to the new 2010 4x4 Scab just over a month ago. The improvements Ford has made to this truck line are amazing. I looked for the same size engine as I had previously, the 4.6l triton. The new 4.6l 3V triton with Efans is a great motor. It has the power I need along with decent fuel economy. I am getting a little over 18 mpg in mixed driving. The improved suspension is a joy on and off road as well. The interior design and controls are great and the Ford Sync bluetooth system is wonderful. The only issues I have with the stock truck are the tires and lack of skid plates on a 4x4. Every 4x4 at any model level should have skid plates and decent AT tires, not HTs. These were items easy enough to fix on my own as I could not incorporate them into my deal with the dealer though.

Excellent used truck. I recommend the Crew Cab over any other body choice. Cars.com also helped in my negotiation process by giving me the knowledge of what similar cars where purchased for.

I have had three Fords prior to this F150 and had never experienced any problems like I am having now. The brake booster switch went out before 100 miles and now the electronic control valve in the transmission is out with 2700 miles. I have a company truck so most of the time this one sits in the garage. I like the looks and the handling but am starting to wonder whats going to go wrong next.

My first big Ford pickup and I bought the crew cab. has plenty of room for what I need and HUGE power. Excellent truck!

Ford has put together what I feel is one of the best trucks to date. I've had the truck since the end of January and have 4600 miles on it and couldn't be more satisfied. Comfortable interior, good excelleration, gas milage for a V8 is great(17 mpg). I drive around 75 on the highway. The only improvement that I would make is to have the stearing wheel telescope. Other than that the truck is great. Don't know how I would ever live without Sync from now on.
