Great Styling

I have the 3.7 L engine (2011) with 7500 miles on it. The best milage to date has been 16 mpg on the highway / 14.9 mpg city (with no wind blowing). I'm very disappointed with 3.7 L engine (advertised as getting 22 mpg). I will be going back to the Tundra next time - at least they are honest.

LOve my 150

F-150 Lariat with Eco-boost V6 and I love my truck. I did have a few problems with the positrac rear-end but Ford fixed it with a new one with no-questions asked. But...the mileage is fantastic for a 4 wheel drive with plenty of power. I'm averaging 21 mpg on the highway and 18.8 around town. The secret is 90+ octane for some drivers are not get what I'm getting using lower octane. Yes, the octane is higher but if you calculate it out, your ahead with the higher price fuel besides the engine is a high compression engine. Ford did a GREAT job on this pickup. Don't change a thing guys and girls.

Ecoboost is best

Love my new Ecoboost F150. Power and economy in the same motor is great. The ride is nice. Lots of cab room for the kids in the double cab.

F-150 Lariat Limited

Just purchased a 2011 with 31k mileage. Have put about 2k on it this month so here's the comments-well, the 6.2 engine gives the performance of a muscle car the long wheelbase and addition of Leer shell provides extremely smooth ride mpg 11 in town and 16 hwy. With that large tank be ready to shell out $100 to fill it up. Surprisingly insurance was same as previous sedan. Oh yeah that transmission jerk thing reported on a lot of six-speeds my dealer said in foctory specs. Maybe they should tighten their tolerances.

Very Good - Lacking a few things

Overall a great truck.. Rides exceptionally nice, plenty of power. Three issues. When putting the vehicle in park you cannot get all the door to unlock automatically. The trans, when tapping the brake for a downshift sometime works, sometimes not. It really needs seat arm rests for us thinner people. I can't use the center console and the door for an arm rest.

best truck I have owned

I bought the truck new in 2012, but it was a 2011 year model. I have put 1000 miles on it so far and am completely impressed. Ford really nailed this one. I have owned Silverados, one 5.3l half ton, one 7.4l one ton. This truck pulls better then either, with twice the mpg as the 7.4, and 4 mpg better than the 5.3. I have never liked Fords due to the interior, I have always found the Silverado interior to be more suited to me, but not in this case. There is more leg room that I need, even at 6'2", the controlls are right where they should be. My only complaint is visability.. or lack there of, but it is a small price to pay for all the up sides. Awsome truck!!!!

FULL SIZE FOR MIDSIZE PRICE

Just got a 2011 certified low milage used Ford F150 truck with extended cab. The full size f150 is very comfortable and with the fx4 package upgrade it has all the bells and whisles along with a comfortable smooth ride. I got the ecoboost v6 motor option and I love it. Its got the power of a v8 but the gas milage of a 6 cylender. I looked at mid size trucks with the off road option package and the price was close and the quality wasnt. the interiors were cheap looking and the fx4 f150 has a luxiroious interior. And Ford didnt have to take tax money to make it, way to go.

Cautiously pleased

Great truck, this is my second F150, only problem thus far is oil consumption, it has used at least 1 qt every 1800 to 2000 miles. It only has 6600 miles since new, I hope this is only a breakin issue. I drove the base v-6, which I felt was underpowered, I opted for the 5.0, which is a great performer, as long as the oil consumption is temporary.

SO LIED TO!!!

I traded in a 2007 F150 King ranch 4x4 so we could work a deal for my wifes car. I was told that a 2011 would be great. It could tow my boat no problem and has plenty of power and it will get better gas mileage. HA HA!! It has the 3.7 v6. It has decent horsepower but there is no TORQUE. That is why people buy trucks! The gas mileage is a joke also. 16.2mpg. I drive highway miles to and from work and it hasn't gotten any better at all. I called the dealership and told them I hated it and they basically told me OH WELL!! I would never in my life buy another Ford truck. Time to go back to a Ram!

strap in

Fantastic vehicle that has impressive fuel economy and horsepower. There are so many features makes trucks from nineties more like model t s.Takes a while to get used to this tech savvy thoroughbred. The only thing I wish would be a longer warranty.100000 km is lacking.
