Rides and drives better than my Cadillac
I purchased a 2011 Ford f-150 SVT Raptor. I am 63 and owned many Trucks in my life and my last 3 were GM vehicles. This truck rides and drives better than any vehicle on the road.

sporty truck with towing and hauling abilities
I bought a Ford F 150 crew with leather, sat radio and a 5 liter v-8. It tows without complaint even up to 9,000 lbs. The combination of the manual shifting auto and lots of HP and torque makes the difference. The truck serves as a daily driver and our only vehicle with 4 doors and it will seat 5 in great comfort. We bought it because we lots a car to a traffic accident and our 2003 F 350 while a great vehicle is not very daily driver friendly. Thus we combined two vehicles into one. So far in one year we have put 22,000 miles on the truck without a hitch. Oil changes etc. and that is it for expenses. The rear tailgate step and the bed extender (especially when folded inward) are a must. Yes I know the step seems silly, but I am 67 and my knees hurt, so laugh if you will, I use the darn thing and am glad to have it. While I personally prefer the looks of the GM products, we bought the Ford simply because we have had such good luck with them and their interiors are better, especially rear seat leg and shoulder room. The new " flat floor " and tilt up seats are a plus as well - having ridden in the back seat with this truck several hundred miles, there is nothing lost in confort from the traditional seat and its more space to use

I am impressed so far my 1st Ford
I am coming from a 2007 Nissan Xterra that was becoming unreliable. I found a used F150 crew cab 4x4 5.0 9kmiles one owner. So far I love the ride very comfortable and quite. Great power. So far so good. after doing months of months of research Ford is the best looking and most reliable truck out there. I am not fan of any make of truck. I shop for my needs and likes and affordability this fit the bill. Gas mileage so far around town for me has been 16.8 and 19-21 highways. This depends on how drive. you romp on the gas you will get poor mileage. Also it's truck I will be towing with it and use what its made for. I will write a review later after a few thousand miles

,i orderd a 2011 f-150 4x4 163in wheel base xl w-ecoboost back in may of 2011 it was built 7-11. i have now got over 16000 miles on it,i have been avg 19mpg with the worst tank at 15.5mpg and the best at 23.0mpg. this is the most heavy duty 150 u can get with the 7 lug wheels and a max payload of allmost 3000lbs. i use the trunk every day and it tows great and u can put anything in the bed. with me it ,at 6000lbs its a lot of truck.

Best truck I have ever purchased
I purchased this Ecoboost for it's towing abilities and I a totally impressed. I have a 30 ft fifth wheel and a quad trailer that I pull in tandem and have no problems towing this unit even in the mountains. This is definitely the best truck I have ever purchased and I have tried every brand.

Ford Ranger to F150 upgrade
In January, I traded in my 2007 Ranger Sport Supercab for a 2011 F150 STX Supercab. Now that I've had my F150 for about a month, I can say that I'm glad I upgraded to the F150. It has more interior room than the Ranger and the seats are more comfortable with more support. The rear seat can accomodate more than small children and the ride is much smoother with the longer wheelbase. Even the base 3.7L V-6 is an improvement over the 3.0L V-6 pushrod motor in the Ranger. The 3.7L is no rocketship, but when you step on the gas, it willingly revs toward the 7K redline whereas the 3.0L V-6 strained above 4K rpm. Right now I'm averaging about 16 mpg in mixed city/hwy use in the F150, but that should improve somewhat when I have more miles on the motor. In 100% highway use, I get around 19 mpg. The only real complaint I have so far is the tilt steering column - I wish it tilted up a little higher so that my legs don't rub the bottom of the steering wheel when I slide into the seat. But once I'm behind the wheel, I'm very comfortable. Of course, the F150 is harder to park because of it's size, but I'll have to adapt to that. So if anyone is thinking about upgrading to an F150 like I did, I'd say take a test drive. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

2011 F150 SCREW
This is my 3rd new F150 since 1998. I still have all three; 98, 05 and the 11. Every modle has been an improvement over the previous. Abslutely no mechanical problems and unbeleivable fuel mileage on the 2011 SCREW, I am averageing 19mpg with the 3.7 V6. I am amazed at the power. Great job Ford, keep it up.

32.000 waste
i bought a new f-150 in nov 2011. 3 months later i traded it in. the transmission was terrible. always banging from 3rd to first and even in first gear when speeding up and slowing down. putting it in 4-wheel drive banged and screeched. the door-pannels clicked and ticked constantly. the driver-seat squeaked with every turn of the wheel or using brake or gas-pedal or moving in seat. slow driving in town only got 13.4 mpg. someone saw me driving once and later remarked that i drive like an old man. (slow) i lost alot trading it in. i wasnt about to spend my life at dealer. 3.7 f-150 xlt less than 1,500 miles on it when i traded it in. 3months old. it seemed fine at test drive. 2 days later it started thumping, banging squeaking, clicking. i could not stand it any longer so, away it went. got something else. what a joke. on me i guess.

Great Purchase
As a first time pickup owner I had to make sure that I did plenty of research and test drive them all. While the Ford was more expensive, at the end it was worth the additional price. The new line of motors for 2011 was the final selling point and I settled on the Ecoboost. Great truck, and I can't wait to pull the boat.
