Nice truck
Been driving the 6 cy ecobooast for a month and 1/2 now. I do like it - has great pick up- we went with the 4 door which I am missing the extra length in the bed but the roomy back seat has been quite usefull on rainy camping trips. we have the trailer towing on this and it sits high. pulls nice and straight( 2 horse bumper pull w/ 6000#. haven't done a long distance yet. Did feel like it swayed but after a month of getting used to a big truck instead of a small car - not an issue. Do like the sync features and all the extra it came with. Buy one - you'll love it.

My New Ford f-150
I just bought a 2012 F-150 Crew Cab 4x4. My truck has the 5.0 V-8. This truck has tons of POWER and is very smooth riding. The crew cab has lots of room even in the back seat. Depending on how you drive it I have been geting between 17 and 21 MPG. Wonderful truck.

Never thought I would buy a Ford. Glad I did.
Bought a 2012 FX2 with every upgrade possible. Truck was still cheaper than my last Tundra, TRD Sport, and it has Nav, Blue Tooth, Camera, Stereo Upgrade, etc. I swore I would never buy an American vehicle then I rode in this. Also everyone on reviews are correct; pay the $1100 extra for the V6 Eco Boost. Was quicker and smoother than the V8 with more towing and torque!!!!

best selling VEHICLE 34 years for a reason!
ABSOLUTELY love my 2012 XLT supercrew! I find any excuse to drive it and cant wait to get up in the morning for work JUST to drive it to work! This truck is SOLID yet has a car like ride. It makes you feel like you can do anything with it. I bought the truck with the base motor 3.7 V6... If you are looking at this motor KNOW that it does NOT get the advertised MPG until its fairly broken in. I was getting about 18 average when i first got it. Knowing a few things about cars I knew its a small motor for a 6,000lb truck so i figured it had to work a little harder. Now at 10,000 miles and I am averaging right at 20MPG which im fine with, hoping it goes a little higher. On a flat road this truck WILL SCREAM... getting you to 60 in about 6.9 seconds. Not bad for a small motor in a heavy truck. This engine is perfect and sounds really good. You cannot tell this motor is a V6 unless you give it a big hill or a steep incline. So if you are going to want to get the truck for just hauling 6 people around or a few loads back and fourth to home depot... its perfect! Anything more I would opt for the eco boost or V8. Other than that its the little engine that could! Love the truck my family has owned Ford trucks for decades and have done nothing but routine maintenance. No other truck can compare thats why this truck has been the best selling VEHICLE for 34 years! Get an F-150. 10 years and 200,000 miles down he road you will be glad you did! A wise investment indeed.

Best selling for 34 years for a reason
I knew I needed a truck after having a small SUV and car that just couldn't do thing a truck does. What I got was an F-150 XLT Crew Cab 4X4 with Eco-Boost. Almost immediately we drove the truck from Montana to South Carolina. The SYNC system is great. I would probably not get the Ford Touch just because of the bugs I have heard it has, but SYNC works just fine. The ride as extremely comfortable. After 10 hours of driving there was no back ache at all. The backseat also has more room than anything else I have ever been in. The MPG is a bit lower than advertized, but I still average 19 from both city/highway. That is still a lot better than the V-8 you would need for the same power. Speaking of power, boy does this truck have it. Towing 6,000 lb car on a flatbed trailer is a cinch. There is no difference in the drive, you step on the gas and surge ahead. There is such authority when driving this with a trailer. It is amazing how much the little things make a difference. The tailgate steps and box side steps make getting into the bed no problem at all. A lot of time instead of putting things over the side of the bed like you have to do with most trucks, I just use the tailgate step and hop on up. Though the flat load floor in the cab means unless my family is going along also, I can put just about anything in the cab. This truck is everything I had hoped for and more. If you get anything else you are just wasting your money.

Should have bought the Eco Boost
I bought a 2012 F150 Extended Cab with the 3.7. It says it will get 17 City and 23 Highway! I struggle to get 16.1 MPG combined. A friend of mine bought the 4X4 Ex. Cab with Eco Boost and it gets MPG as advertised. I'm 53 and drive the truck very easy in town but it doesn't help. When I called the service dept they kinda laughed and said well thats rated MPG and thats a big truck and a small motor. In other words you bought the cheap one. Other than the MPG I love the truck. If you are going to get one buy the Eco Boost! Nobody told me...

Great power for a 6
Just traded a Silverado for the 6 Eco boost. The Chev 8 cyl. had just a little more power but the gas mileage of the Eco-boost and option to use E85 is more important to me. The F-150 has a lot more room and Synch is a nice option that doesn't require a load of subscriptions.

First Ford truck
I bought a 2012 F150 XLT crew cab. I have had two months. So far so good. I haven't had to return to the dealer for anything. There are not any rattles or annoying interior noises. The ride is smooth and quiet. The Eco boost engine provides decent gas mileage. I get better than the advertised 21 mpg on the highway. I have not pulled my boat yet.
