First car
This is the first car I've bought. I've owned a few motorcycles but after couple years of commuting 50+ miles to work and back it takes its toll. The sync feature is really handy since i listen to my iPod while i drive. The interior is what you'd expect out of a car its price, functional. I don't like the steering wheels feel as far as texture id prefer synthetic leather at least. The noise from the transmission is minimal at best no louder then the 4x120mm fans on my computer case . I cant hear it over the radio. In low gears it is tight so i tend to take it slow starting. Once you get past third she's easy. Steering precision is tight and reminds me of riding my sport bike. Light weight so semi truck rifts are more annoying then in a heavier vehicle. My first car and only 150miles on the odometer so I've got my fingers crossed after reading these reviews.

My first car!
Hi, I am a recent college graduate and my parents bought me a ford fiesta for graduation. This fiesta is my first car! I have not had any problems with the transmission, but I also take really good care of my car and take it into the Ford dealership every six months (I got the extended warranty with the car). So far, it has been a great car and it is cheap to fill up (I usually pay $25-$30). I have taken several road trips to North Carolina (from GA) and have not had any problems. I have had the car since June. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants an affordable car with great gas mileage!

Not overly impressed
I bought this car after having sooo many troubles with my VW bug. i thought..hey if i buy a brand new car under warranty,, i wont have to deal with breaking down car all the time! wrong.. 3 months in, been back to Ford 4 times now. already had a new transmission. STILL doing the same loud grinding noises the VERY next day, they tell me its SUPPOSE to do that, would have been nice they told me "your fiesta will make loud grinding noises every single day" before i bought it. FAIL.

Transmission problems after week 1
I have had my Fiesta, now at 37,000 miles for two years. After the first 3 months I noticed a gear grinding noise and buck in 1st and 2nd gear, so after the 3rd time bringing it the shop they told me: Well we noticed that the transmission fluid is leaking so it is the manufacturers fault for not tighening the rubber gasket. They fixed it only after I told them to keep it on the lot (they paid the rental car) until fixed. 1 week later they told me it was fixed, now 6 months later the transmission is starting to buck again when in 1st gear. Thank you all for posting, I thought it was just my vehicle, but it is FORD! I am sticking to my Caddie!

EVERYTHING IS GOOD BUT THE TRANS NOISE
Got My FIESTA for little more than a year, so far the car is good except the transmission noise it rattles and sounds like it wants to find the correct gear but It cant, It can be frustrating some time but my guess is that new six speed transmission didn't quite tested before putting in the car. If it wasn't because of the transmission noise I would rate this car a 5, what a disappointment. The car has great mpg, great features real good price just fix this thing with the transmission and it would be a great car. FORD PLEASE FIX THIS Transmission noise or tell us how to eliminate the problem, because it happens once in a while

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR
I bought a brand new 2013 Fiesta. 1 week later, a very frustrating engine noise starts annoying my life. It sounds like grinding or rattling. It is coming from the new transmission system Ford is using. The dealer never said anything about it before I bought it.. For me, it seems like they are trying new stuff on customers without their knowledge which is frustrating. Now I am trying to trade in the car but they are refusing because of my "credit history".. I strongly recommend anyone NOT to by this car.

OUTSTANDING MPG
i have owned this 2012 model for 2 years now. i have 36k miles on her(its an automatic). what i like most is the mpg. i get 40-44 on road trips. even with city driving i don't think i have ever got less than 35mpg. there are a couple things i don't like about the car. the rear seats don't fold flat and the opening from the trunk to the cabin is small. its almost worthless to use. don't like the power lock button on the dash, its inconvenient at times. key-less entry works only with minimal distance. i have also experienced some transmission noise as others have stated but its not real bad. still drives very good and engine runs great. to me the outstanding mpg of this car and its somewhat low price makes up for its shortcomings. its gets hybrid fuel economy at a 10k or more lower price tag. but i would feel alot better if ford could give us a much longer warranty on this tranny since there are many complaints about it.

Great Car - My Favorite!
This was my first 'brand new" car that I bought off the lot. I had mine built because I wanted a certain color and a 5 speed. I love this car. I'm 6 foot tall and I'm comfortable driving it for long hours. My commute is 80 miles round trip every day. In the year I've owned the car, I've put 30k miles on it, and not a single thing has gone wrong with the car. I've only changed the oil every 5k miles. I love this car - I recommend it to anyone who wants a great car for the mileage. I get 39.7 MPG in this thing - the gas it saves actually pays for my payment every month! I can't say enough about it - Ford hit it out of the park! Love love my 2013 Fiesta Titanium hatchback!
