Great car--except the transmission noise
Purchased a 2013 Titanium loaded to the max. 400 miles later i started noticing the horrible grinding noise when the car shifts in lower speeds. after much argument with the dealer that i was NOT hearing things, they finally admitted it was the transmission and it was a "normal" noise!!! What? Told me it should quiet down as the car gets broke in. I have the 2.0-liter, six-speed PowerShift automatic,SelectShift? capability. Didnt read up on the complaints of the lurching and stuff and that really doesnt bother me---its the noise my car makes going thru a parking lot---loud and embarrassing for a brand new car. Hoping that over time it does quiet down, otherwise, i may go back to a Kia.

A lot of car for the money
The 2013 Focus has great styling inside and out, a big improvement over the previous generation of the model. Performance and handling are really good, especially for an "economy car." With the 5-speed manual transmission, power is adequate, and the car delivered the EPA-rated 36mpg on it's initial 1000-mile trip. Features like the sync system make it feel like a more expensive car. In fact, I'd rather drive the Focus than my 9-year-old Mercedes C240.

great car
We bought this Focus a month ago and like it very much. It is underpowered compared to the car we had before--a six cylinder--but it does get much better mileage. The seats are much too firm for our comfort. We can't imagine what Ford was thinking. We did not test drive a Focus before buying as we intended to buy a Fiesta.

Very fast and good on gas.
Very nice little car. I took it on a 100 mil. trip at about 80 mph I got 35mpg. Quick out of the hole. I know I will probable get a ticket with it. I haven't driven it much yet . So far it has been fun with no problems.

SO FAR IT IS THE BEST CAR I HAVE HAD.
I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2013 FORD FOCUS TITANIUM .IT HAS A REAL DEEP BLUE METALLIC PAINT JOB.ALL OF THE NEW BELLS AND WHISTLES ARE HARD ON A 62 YEAR OLD HOT RODDER,IT IS SCARY STUFF WHEN A RADIO IS SMARTER THAN YOU ARE.THE FORD SYNC IS REAL NICE. I REALLY ENJOY THE NEW FOCUS AND I WOULD TELL ANYONE TOO GET ONE.

Just Like the Ford Focus Commercials!
Such a Great driving car at a Great Price & Great Mileage, too! No longer the Tuna Can it once was! Totally re-engineered inside & out designed like a German car. . .so no reason Not to Buy American! My sister bought a new car the same time a boring Toyota Corolla based on Consumer Reports High Reliability -- compared to Ford Focus -- hope this new model has improved on that. However Car & Driver did rate the Ford Focus in Top 10 Best Cars for 2013 and I would agree with that!!

Focus Review
I am very happy with the car overall. I just wish the two left doors matched the two right doors. The dealer service says they will fix, but so far nothing. The sales folks were very helpful, and yes I'd buy another one.

The best compact I ever drove
I've got 3,300 miles on my minimally equipped 2013 Ford Focus S with a 5-speed manual transmission, and it has not disappointed me. Power and handling and solid feel coupled with outstanding fuel economy make this car a winner. The driver and shotgun seats offer comfort and excellent support. Mrs. Supercruiser and I were very comfortable on a three hour nonstop drive despite our arthritis issues. The nice part is that a fully grown male (I'm 6'1", 245, and wear a size 54 long suit.) can fit into the driver's seat comfortably, although I have popped the buttons off several rear trouser pockets during entry. Forget assigning any adult passengers to the rear seats while the front seats are adjusted all the way back. They won't fit.
