Newest car I have owned

The car is great gas mileage and plenty of room for my family. Microsoft Sync in the car makes "hands free" driving law much easier to deal with.

Good car overall, but a few annoyances

I really liked this car while I owned it. It was a great looking car, it was loaded with features, and it drove pretty well. My biggest complaint is probably the touchscreen in it. Aside from lacking Android Auto or Apple CarPlay integration, the UI is grossly outdated and highly unresponsive. On the outside, the paint, wheels, and overall design is beautiful. I did have an issue with paint chipping on the hatch, and some issues opening the hatch from time to time. On the inside, everything help up extremely well. I really hated the lack of storage in this car though. The car drives great, but the engine is very weak. I would literally have to floor the pedal to catch it in first gear coming off a hill, which was very annoying.

Worst car I've ever owned

This car has been messed up since the day I got it. The transmission slips all the time. After getting it fixed twice under warranty. The recall for the gas purge valve or whatever it was, they fixed it, and then it still keeps shutting off on me randomly. Itll say I have 80 miles left, still shuts off. So many times I've been driving and it spits and sputters and acts like it's going to shut off on me right there. Its terrifying. I have a baby but I'm stuck paying for this xxx. The seats are very uncomfortable, the headrest feels like it wants to push your head forward. Blind spots are okay if my mirrors are set right, I can usually see all around so that's okay for the most part. The window is weird. I feel like it's super uncomfortable to drive with the windows down because of how long the windows are. I just hate this car. I would never reccommend someone get it and I always try real hard to steer people.away from it. My experience has been the worst with this car and I've owned some pretty old.and junky cars.

Bad transmission - no satisfation from Ford

If it wasn't for the constant and unrelenting transmission problems I'd have been very satisfied. The gas mileage is great and I had very few other problems with it. That being said the transmission has never worked right (a common problem with this model) and Ford was either unable or unwilling to fix it. The time before the last time I took it in it seemed to be finally fixed, but lest than 2,000 miles later (just after the warranty expired) the transmission started grinding. Coincidence, ineptness or sabotage? I don't know, but the cost to fix it is more than the car is worth especially since from what I've read I'll still have problems with it. That will be the last Ford I ever bought. Hello Subaru!

Worst car ever made by Ford Motor!! Total garbage!

Problems from the start! Major transmission problems. I’ve replaced mine twice. Fuel problems, computer problems , problems with the doors, acceleration issues! Continuing to have problems. Shame on you Ford Motor for not recalling this garbage. SHAME!!!!

This car is so dangerous

I had to tailor over this car bcuz my daughter had a child. It is SO VERY DANGEROUS WE WOULDN'T ALLOW HER TO RIDE IN IT EVER! My daughter drove a ford 500 into the Ford dealership and couldn't leave bcuz it's transmission was so bad. She was sold a Ford Focus which they KNEW had a transmission problem. She was a beautiful 22 year old at the time. Anything could have happened to her. She was rear ended one bcuz of the car's hesitation from the faulty transmission. I can not warn EVERYONE ENOUGH THIS YEAR FORD FOCUS IS LIVE THREATENING. I get frustrated drivers behind me ALL OF THE TIME BCUZ IT TAKES OFF SO VERY SLOW, HESITATES AND NOW STALLS FOR NO APPARENT REASON! Pleae consider almost any other car! She should have been told about the transmission. My husband asked if there were any known faults with the car. The salesman lied!

POOR transmission!

I really love the performance and exterior style. I really dislike the interior room and transmission troubles. Sound system and amenities are good, particularly for cost, and fuel economy is excellent.
