2014 Ford Focus consumer reviews

This car is defective, the clutch has gone out twice & is on it's way out again. It has had a few recalls, the gas gauge is not accurate when the fuel is low. I could go on & on but I think you get the picture...

This car should never have been on a production line, anyone who purchased this car put themselves and their family members in danger. The dealership l purchased this car from, even though l purchased the warrenty that covered the transmission, and engine within a month later l had the shuttering, problems with the gears, the electrical pannels going out, the complete shutdown decline, cummuting in heavy tarffic, each time they tried to convince me they found nothing wrong. Why put a customer through this, or anyone. This car should have been pulled and discontinued on the production line. When l finally saw through the game this dealership was giving me, l refuse to take the car back to them, then l finally started to see the recall, everything that l am experiencing with this Ford Focus is still occuring. Really ,really who does this?

Incredible gas mileage, reliable, comfortable, NO issues. Had for 2 years now and have not had to go to shop even once. Love. I absolutely recommend this vehicle, don’t listen to the bad reviews. It’s fantastic other people don’t take care of it the way they should. This car won’t let you down. Also, great surround system!

I love my car but the fact that there is a recall on it and that will give me a rental can’t afford to get one I’m a single mom I do work this is the only car I own it’s like it my fault that my car has a recall so if it breaks down I have no car cause of ford

At first the car was great,Amazing gas mileage,Comfortable,drove good,but if you like your music alittle loud your not going to be to happy,But one day went to use the phone in my car the phone would not come on nor the radio,Then out of the blue no signs at all I put my car in reverse then went to put in drive to pull out the engine light came on and it revved up having a hard time pulling out then it was doing it in 2nd gear then it smoothed out then this morning went to pull out my car wouldn't go anywhere I was stuck in the road all of this in a 22hr period,Make sure you do your research before buying with 11 recalls I would think twice you will be stuck like me

I would avoid this model.The transmission has many problems.It drives poorly shudders and shakes down the road.It does weird revving and buckings.I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.It has had fuel issues many recalls.

There are parts on this car that are recalled for certain Focus’s. Just not mine!! They want 2400.00 to fix a part that’s under recall for this vehicle, Just Not Mine?? Called the “Recall Folks” someone in Bangladesh answered. She had no idea what I was talking about. Would t let me talk to anyone else. 😡😡

This car has excellent gas mileage and is great for city and highway driving. I work 10 min from home and love how the car handles in all kinds of weather. So grateful the staff helped me pick the perfect car. Thank you.

This car is a great starter car. It's comfortable enough as a driver, I have had complaints about the back seat over the years. The transmission is trash, I can't avoid comments about it. It shutters from a stop almost every time. There's an extended warranty out on it, but it did no good in the dealerships attempt to resolve the issue. That being said, I've had the car for 110K+ miles now and have had no real issues besides that. I'm at 141K total and am hoping to continue going strong for a few more years.
