Most Satisfied
I have found my new Fusion to be responsive and exciting to drive. The dealer was most accomodating in finding a vehicle I wanted in a timely fashion. The technology is a little much for me now, but I will learn. Mike

Impressed
I am an analyst by trade and I was in no hurry to buy, so I researched and drove many makes and models including Kia, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, VW, Acura, Audi, Toyota, Mazda, Buick, and Ford. The 2013 Fusion was the winner. My decision criteria was based on features, looks, value, and fuel economy. Some of the cars I looked at are just way too common on the street (Accord, Altima, Camry, Optima) others are expensive to maintain (Acura, Audi). Some don't hold their value (based on information provided by a friend in the insurance industry). Features I wanted and got with the Fusion included heated leather seats, backup camera and backup sensors, blind spot heated mirrors, advanced electronics (blue tooth, USB, remote services, keypad touch entry, large touch screen entertainment center, etc). I also like the no cap fuel tank. I did not want a diesel or Hybrid, they take too long to recover the initial cost. The 1.6 Turbo has plenty of power for my needs. I am 6'2" and this car has plenty of headroom. My last two cars have been from Lexus, and I don't consider this a step down. Well done Ford.

Woah... It's a Ford? Really?
I've owned this car two weeks. After driving Japanese cars for the last 12 years, I decided to give the American cars another look due to increased reliability. I drove the Camry, Accord, Altima, and Fusion. Based on my tastes these four cars fit my interest. I also drove a few used cars in a similar price range due to being a year or two old (Maxima, Lexus, Challenger). Each test drive I found myself comparing against the Fusion. 2013 seems to be the year of technology for cars. Large screens, better voice control, better integration with phones and technology. The Fusion fits well in this category with the technology package or the Titanium model. It still has a few quirks, but the MyTouch system is impressive, and something that you'll want to use day to day. Overall the Fusion has HOT exterior appearance. It's a head turner. The only vehicle in the same stratusphere is the Sonata. Build quality appears to be top notch. LED tail lights are SUPER bright. HID headlights provide great visability. Lights on the underside of the side mirrors for curtesy lighting are a nice touch. My only exterior complaint is the lack of a locking fuel door. The interior of the Fusion with the technology and luxury package is amazing. Touch screen controls, voice commands, touch buttons are all great features. The seats are comfortable and provide a nice amount of configurability. The driver seat tips upward a bit too much, but with a softer cushion it doesn't cause too many issues. The blue green interior lighting is easy on the eyes. The audio system sounds nice, but requires a bit of volume to hear bass. The only missing feature in my Fusion is the lack of a keyless ignition. You can get that feature in the Titanium model, but with competitors offering it in all models, it's something Ford should have added. My fuel economy has been hitting about 29 MPG with 90% highway, 10% surface streets. I'd like to see a bit better fuel economy in this type of driving. According to the manual, fuel economy should improve, but I'm not sure if it will reach the 32 to 34 MPG I was hoping to see. I've been primarily using cruise control and driving fairly gingerly. My prior Honda Accord achieved 30 to 32 MPG with a lower claimed MPG rating. If the looks work for you, and your interested in a mid size sedan... make sure you look at the Fusion. It may surprise you. I know it did me.

Great start with awsome looking car.
I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but this car looks great! Mine's an SE with the 1.6 ecoboost, leather n Sync with MyTouch. Impressed with features. Cant give it 5 stars for reliability since I just bought it, but I have high hopes for good quality, as documented with prior fusions. Ecoboost provides good balance of power with mpg. Not disappointed and no regrets with purchase.

Older Fusion is Better
Ford downgraded the new Fusion while boosting prices. The styling is sweet bet my new SE is plagued with many quality control problems. The '13 seems smaller inside yet larger to park and a poor turning radius. It is tough to see out of the rear with blind spots. It has a lot of kinks to be worked out. My 2008 Fusion served me well. Only time will tell if reliability improves and the car grows on me

Best car in class!
We're in the market for a premium midsize car so we just completed test driving the upper trim models of the Fusion, Malibu, Altima, Accord and Camry. The Fusion surprised us the most with its soft supple ride, premium interior materials and stunning exterior design...in fact much better looking in person than any picture. I'm not sure what the previous poster meant by 40k but I tested a loaded SE with leather moonroof & touch screen that stickered for around 27k. This car is at the top of my list right now and it even turned a few heads during the drive where the others were invisible.

Looks are Deceiving
We have driven Ford's for years and did not hesitate ordering the new '13 Fusion Titanium AWD with every bell and whistle, optional package, box checked and dealer installed accessory even before final prices were announced. Our trusted dealer was amazing as in the past and we dealt based on a set percentage off what the retail cost would be. We were astounded by a figure just south of $40,000.00 for a "Ford Fusion" when the final price was emailed to us but could not fault the excellent sales personnel at the dealership for their fine work in delivering the vehicle as ordered and in such a timely and professional manner. Sticker shock was not the only issue. The front facia of the '13 Fusion resembles that of a large mouth bass. The new Fusion photographs far better than the car appears up close and the glossy pictorials that garnered our attention were dashed when we had mistaken the gorgeous extra cost (mind you) pearl-like white Fusion we had ordered for a similar looking 4-door Focus on the dealer's lot that happened to be parked right next it upon seeing our recently ordered '13 Fusion for the very first time. Having owned two other (and much loved) Ford Fusions, the 2013 disappoints in the following ways: Too cramped an interior, very hard seats, poor visibility, harsh ride, large turning radius, too many small confusing buttons and nonsensical electronics, lack of head room for any one over 6.0, like me and an even worse MYFORD system than on our other pre-MY13 Ford's and Lincoln's. The new Fusion has been in the shop several times since taking delivering of it mere weeks ago. The most prevalent concerns: leaking sunroof, MYFORD malfunctions and various rattles. I never would have expected these kind of issues from a car costing half the price of the new AWD Fusion. Even so, no car build today should suffer as many problems nor go down so many grades.
