Best sporty/fun to drive car for the money
Super fun car with reasonable economy and performance. 5-speed manual has the best gear ratios I've ever experienced. V-6 has more than ample power and provides over 30 mpg on the highway. Looks are tough to beat. Great style - pleasant from any angle. My 2006 "Pony" has all the GT stuff except the engine and makes for an extremely wonderful handling car. Ride is quite nice except on choppy surfaces - but most cars aren't the greatest on choppy roads anyway. Car is a bit noisy inside - the only, though minor, complaint I have. I have logged over 71,000 trouble free miles so far and look forward to another 71,000 or more. One thing I wish all Mustangs would come with from the factory is either dual exhaust or at least a dual outlet tail pipe. If they (Ford) can put duals on the Edge, one would think they would put them on a Mustang. I put a true dual kit on mine and most people think it's a GT. I'm fine with that. Mustang is still #1 in my book. I don't forsee anyone else beating it (or even coming close) for the money.

Fun, Fun Car
My dad originally bought this car for himself as a "toy" car, but a year later gave it to me. I have an 06 GT and LOVE IT. The only complaint that I have is the impractical back seat.. Don't plan on hauling average-sized adults around comfortably, there is minimal leg room. Other than that, it's great. I love the get-up-and-go factor. I have no worries passing cars, if you know what I mean :). The stock sound system is awesome, with a convenient power outlet for my ipod. I find there is plenty of trunk space, also. I've never calculated my gas mileage, but I've never had to worry about it either. A full tank lasts me long enough, so I don't worry. I have only taken it to the shop once, because a critter chewed a wire from underneath. Due to weather I'm looking for an alternative winter vehicle.. The Stang isn't going to cut it for a Midwest winter. If you're looking for a quick, fun car with that's eye-catching inside and out, go for the Stang.

"Classic Muscle Car Performance and Style"
Like most of you, when I first saw the New Mustang in a car magazine I knew I had to have one! This is the best car that I have ever owned!! I purchased new in 2006 and have 58,000 miles on odometer now. I have added the Roush package with 20" Foose "Nitrous"rims and get thumbs up wherever I go! I can't tell you how many smiles and stares I get when people pass. The car handles superbly and has beautiful styling any way that you look at it. I usually get a new car every 2-3 years but plan on driving this one until it dies. Only complaint is the gas mileage. I get average 18-20 mpg. Love the car!!! Old school cars are back!

GT Convertible
This is my first Mustang and my first convertible and I am not dissapointed. I traded in an '03 Acura TL Type S which was a great car but the minute I started the Mustang for the first time and heard the rumble of th engine I was sold. The performance and styling were major factors in my descicion. I have a few complaints, gas mileage is not good i average 21 mpg in mixed driving during the week, i think a 6 speed instead of the 5 speed manual would help this and the quality of the interior is not as good as i had hoped. It is also loud on the highway, the exhaust note can turn into a drone on extended highway cruising. These are to be expected in a convertible Muscle Car. Coming from the Acura just makes them more noticeable. Overall the mustang is a blast to drive and any shortcomings are quickly forgotten when you put the top down on a summer afternoon. I could not live with the V6 or an automatic, If you get the V8 with a 5 speed you will not be disapointed.

Great Looks and Performance
This is the 5th Mustang I have owned and I'd have to say the best. It will never reach the classic status of my '67 convert, but a great car none the less. I have the GT and it has plenty of power. One other thing I like is the aftermarket choices. You can truly make this car your own.

Get the GT
I've had my GT for over a year now. This is the MOST fun car I have ever owned. This car is better than my old RX-7, any of my Honda's, even the other Mustangs that I have owned. I did start to feel some discomfort when I drove from Tampa to Atlanta and back in 24 hours this past summer. So for cross country driving I would recommend a car with a little more space and comfort but for daily driving to and from work I don't see how you can beat this car for the price. It has been to the shop twice for TSB's as I try to stay on top of them. No recalls yet. Compared to the average vehicle, two TSB's isn't bad.

Best Car I've ever owned!
The other major car companies should take note of this car. It's handling is second to none. Here's a lesson to all that you need to give the consumer what they want. Quit creating the boxy looking lugs, and come up with something stylish and retro like this Mustang. I have an '06 GT with 5,000 miles on it, and I intend to keep this car for a long, long time.

So much car for the price!
I bought a 2006 V6 Premium convertible with 16,000 miles on it and I think it's an incredible buy. For $18,000 I have the fun and appeal of a car costing at least twice this amount. Do your homework; I found 19 2006 convertibles in the Seattle area priced from $17,500 to $18,500 (3/07). I also found several no better 2006 V6 convertibles for $20,00 to $25,000. Hold out for the leather interior and, if you are lucky, the Pony Package.
