Amazing car. Very nice and very powerful

Love everything about this car aside from two things. One being the rear tires. They are great for a racetrack and great once they're very hot but for performance driving on normal roads all they do is spin. Second is the factory shifter assembly. If you plan on driving the car hard, don't plan on making a 1-2 shift at high rpm. Grinds if it does make the shift, but usually locks you out of second until the revs come down. So all in all, some stickier rear tires and an alternator shifter make this car an absolute animal

V6 Performance Package

After test driving every possible mustang from 2011-present I determined the 2011-2012 v6 premium performance package checked all the boxes. It's fast and fun at legal speeds, can handle very well, looks fantastic, gets above 20 mpg combined on 87 gas, inexpensive to insure, easy to find parts, and they can be had for under 15k. It wasn't an easy hunt to find a clean used one but I'm happy I put in the effort. Going to drive the wheels off it over the next 5 years.

5.0 Convertible

Got this for my wife after she was ready to grow up and buy a real mustang lol. She had a 2014 V6 with a track pack and I have to say for a V6 it was plenty nice. After having it for nearly a year she wanted more power and we stumbled onto this on at our local car lot and not meaning to buy a convertible we wound up with it. Performance - 5.0's are nothing to sneeze at. In convertible form with an A/T they leave something small to be desired. There really isn't anything that can replace shifting gears with the top down and this car reminds you of that quite a bit. That being said for an auto it drives very smooth with buttery good changes and the ability to manually go up and get max power out of everything. The exhaust note is a little dampened but present so we intend to fix that and make sure everyone knows she there. Everyone complains about the live axles on these cars but in all honesty they engineered the poopy out of this thing and though at its heart it's a dinosaur that's what makes it fun.... plus whenever you upgrade things live axles handle power waaay better. Exterior styling - It's a convertible so naturally a woman is going to look great driving it. Only complaint is that I'd like to see a hardtop version of this car... think it's possible even if it'd be a few thousand more. Looks are very good with all the right lines and the California special spoiler on the back. It's a little large but driving a topless car needs to have that added pizzaz to let everyone know. Wheels could be better but they are the right size at 18" and we intend to dip them black to make them match the car. Lights are nearly all LED with 4 still being the standard bulbs. This can be easily remedied for about 60 bucks and we intend to do that. Interior styling - the interior is largely based off the 05-09 stangs with minor changes and that's because it works well. I personally like the all circle vents of my 07 better but changes naturally came for consumers so no real complaints. Sync is really nice to have and heated seats in a convertible seem kinda dumb but it's an option...? Of course the best thing about the interior of a convertible is you can make it the exterior. Having the top down on this car presents 0 blind spots and makes you really noticeable. Again I wish they'd have a hard top version but it's still worthy. Overall Impressions - This car is geared more for cruising down the highway than going to the strip and racing. Everything is toned down and slightly more refined but with enough power to get moving when needed. MPG has been in the mid 20s for mixed driving and is very fun to drive with the top down. Only real recommendation is for anyone looking to get a standard trans and add some fun to the drive by not being bogged down with the A/T setup. Doesn't kill the buy but it'll definitely help to have. Very well balanced and still enough room in the trunk for a good road trip

Great car!

I love this car! Although the V8 exist I got this at a very reasonable price and save on gas! The only thing I wish I had was a Bluetooth on this model but I am just being a brat because the aux cable does just fine and is more than a fair trade.

Mustang GT Premium Manual, a beast

Keep in mind the year of this vehicle, the first year of the triumphant return of the 5.0! I ended up with a Mustang GT Premium Manual after having spent a year of test driving and researching nearly every performance car I could think of. When I started I drove the 2010 Mustang as the 2011 wasn't out yet, I wrote that off, along with the Challenger. The Camero was going to be my car till I drove the 5.0 Mustang. What a beast! Easily the most fun powerful ride of that year. A comfortable and modern interior (minus the cup holders right BEHIND the gear shift where your arm goes), and an aggressive exterior look powered by 412 HP 5.0L V8. I have owned this car since 2010 when I factory ordered it, and have drove it sparingly (5000 miles as of 01/29/2018) in the hopes of being able to pass down a "classic muscle car" to my kids someday. Love this beast!

Good handling muscle car

Bought the car new in '11 after looking at Camaros and Challengers and considering it the superior vehicle. The Camaro was claustrophobic and had no rear quarter visibility, and the Challenger handled with the agility of a water buffalo. Good handling, well equipped, comfortable, good visibility for lane changes, and with 412 HP it is fast, doing 0 to 60 in 4 seconds and the quarter mile in 13 seconds. SYNC voice activated infotainment/navigation system is excellent. The good Overall quality, decent mileage, good styling, reliable The not so good The manual transmission linkage has been problematical from when it was first introduced. It has a habit of being difficult to shift from neutral into first gear. The first few times it produces unnecessary anxiety., but once prepared, it is annoying but manageable. Road noise can be an issue on rough pavement, but changing from the stock tires cut the noise down by about half.
