Explore the 2008 Ford Taurus X

Next to a Hummer, this is horrible.

The 2008 ford Taurus x has several known manufacturers defective components that should be recalled for safety. The fuel sending block cracks causing a dangerous fuel leak. The power steering leaks causing unsafe maneuvering of the vehicle. The ford dealer in Columbiana Ohio said the recalls are owners responsibility ford would not pay for the repairs. Ford just doesn't want to sell any more vehicles.

Taurus x (was called flex also)

I brought this car used and it was a few yrs old with low miles. I had never heard of it before purchasing and was not at the time a big fan of ford. This car changed that after owning for 3 yrs I really like it. It had been very reliable and great in winter as it?s awe. The amount of room in the back is amazing. With seats down in back my 9 ft kayak fits fine.

Was only made two years for a reason

Had issues overheating or staying cool for years. The engine was designed very poorly and as such simpler repairs like a water pump are expensive and time consuming. Only got 18 miles to the gallon.

A Hidden Treasure for Station Wagon Lovers

Call it a Crossover, call it a SUV, call it a station wagon, it is a very versatile vehicle. The 3.5L V6 is a big improvement over the 3.0L from its predecessor, the similar Freestyle. Comfortable seats, and ability to stow all but the driver's seat.

Great car for kids

I have to boys and it's great for them. Plenty of room for everybody! With the seating the boys don't have to set next to each

Taurus X has a great design.

I like this vehicle even though it is 9 years old. The comfort and reliability in winter having AWD makes this a great car for the upper Midwestern states.

Love my car

We have owned the car since new in 2008 we have the trailer package we have pulled trailers we did a trip to Colorado from St.Louis pulling a trailer that was technically too big for the car didn't have a single issue we do have two sets of rims one with snow tires one without and have never had any issues in the snow we do not have all wheel drive the car now has two hundred and nineteen thousand miles and is still running fine we do all routine maintenance and just make sure to keep up on everything that should be done and have not had a single issue with it

Reliable so far.

I needed a vehicle that could seat at least 6 and this one fit the bill. I have owned it for a couple years now and have taken it from 120000 miles to 155000. So far the only complaints I have had is that the alignment is hard to keep where it needs to be. I do live on a dirt road so that probably doesn't help. Engine uses a little oil but I guess that's common for that many miles. Overall it has been a reliable car that I have had to put more tires on than I would like because of the alignment issues.

The best Ford model on the planet

It's spacious, lots of legroom, and can control the temperature of the whole truck front and rear. Its got a TV, DVD player, Bluetooth headphones so the kids have something to do besides bother each other. We love it, put a smile on our whole family's face.
