Rear break pads

Rear break failure from 15000 to 25000 miles. This is unheard of you need to replace your rear break pads every 3 oil changes. Honda needs to stand behind there cars and come up with a fix fast. There is know way they did not know of this problem.

Virbration at 60 MPH!!!

XLE Great Car that's classy and roomy and rides weel until you reach 60 mph, then it vibrates like something you would buy a "Brookstone." Seems to smooth out at 70 mph, but is quite annoying. Service department blew me off with the "it's the tires" bull!!! This will be my first and last Honda. My wife has an Audi. now they know how to make a car!!!

Major Breaks Problem!!!!!

I leased a 2008 Accord, 12 months later I find my self driving to the grocery store with a squeeling noise coming from my car!! who ever heard of replacing your rear break pads at 14,000 miles!!! I have owned nissan cars that went three years with factory breaks, certainly my driving habits haven't changed.they have actually improved since having my child.. Honda needs to adress this issue fast and stop giving their comsumers the old "it's typical waer and tear in these cars" story..

Poor Decesion back to American cars

I purchase company cars for the company I work for, about 50 year, for 21 years on 1995 we mixed in imports now its up to about 45% imports. starting 10-1-08 back to 100% detroit 3 due to import quality going down, we have 8 07's and 5 08's Honda and of 13 cars 12 are giving us lots of brake, AC, rattles, 2 Motor problems, electrical, Mechanic said not the car they used to be we compare long term and quality was well under the Chevy Lumina and Fort Taurus our company went back to all USA cars as quality and our economy is suffering with all the imports being purchased

If only it were a little quicker....

OK, I know I didn't buy the car to contend with Ferrari's. However, I did not anticipate being out-accelerated by a Chevy Cobalt SS at a traffic light! Nor did I anticipate being humiliated by a Hyundai Genesis on the interstate! The final straw that prompted this review was the absolute embarrassment delivered in a playful stoplight challenge from a new Mazda 6! I bought the EX-L top of the line Honda. I know that luxury and comfort were the primary goals in mind, but I feel the company that designed the Acura NSX could have put a little more emphasis on performance! I am now stuck with a nice-looking sedan that is out-performed by virtually every competitor in its class! Do yourself a favor and do your homework prior to buying, as I should have!

think again about the Accord!

I have a 09'accord EX 4 cyl. and the engine seems very good with excellent handling. However, the cheap plastic materials inside keep making noises even with the car idling, not to mention the rattlings when it hits even the smallest of bumps. Rear brakes make squeeky noises from the 1st week I bought it. Please test drive it over a very bumpy road before you decide!

What's going on with the brakes???

This is my 2nd Accord, and until today I was satisfied with it. When I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation, the mechanic informed me I need rear brake pads. He said it was probably the way I drive, which is just nonsense. I have 19,200 miles on this car, which I bought in Dec, 2007, and I commute 60 miles a day to work. My 2002 Accord went 64,000 miles before needing brakes. I bought this car for the Honda reliability I had with my old Accord and with my 97 Civic. This is a deal breaker for me.
