2008 Honda Accord consumer reviews

My Dad and I bought my Mom an '08 Accord EX-L V6 for Christmas '07 and we all love the car. It drives great, looks great, rides great. The car is exceptionally smooth. It does take a little bit of time to master the moderately complex climate control and stereo controls. Car is very peppy and very sharp looking. My mom loves it and gets complements on it often. Now I'm strongly considering replacing my '00 V6 coupe with an '08.

went from chevy monte carlo to accord . getting close to ten miles per gallon more.car is very roomy and comfortable for four adults.

Up until now we had been loyal Honda owners. We are very disappointed with our new Honda because the design of the front seat headrests does not allow you to sit up straight with your spine in alignment. We saw a website with the crash dummy and the headrest, and the back was bent forward at about a 30 degree angle at midback in order to adjust to the headrest (which is pushed way forward). This is improper posture - check a website on proper posture in a car. After a week of driving the car, I had serious back and neck pain because I couldn't sit straight in the seat. If I put the seat in the upright position, the headrest pushes my head forward and down. If I put the seat back at an angle, then I have to curve my back or neck forward, putting strain on my spine and moving it out of alignment. It's hard to enjoy the good features of the car when I dread getting into the car because sitting in the seat causes so much discomfort.

I am very happy with my Accord EX. It is very roomy in both the front and back seats. I was very impressed with the 190hp 4cyl. This is my second Accord, and I hope it turns out to be as seliable as my 91 Accord. Great car.

I've had this car for almost 2 months now and I have to say its perfect. I found one flaw though, the navigation software is really outdated , Honda's newest version of the nav software (v4.62) is missing many streets and roads which can be very frustrating when traveling. My neighborhood is not even in the system. Other streets which are over 10 years old are not found in the database either. Some great things about the V6 Auto is that it gets great gas mileage especially with the VCM system. The ride is really smooth and the pickup is amazing. The car also has many safety features. The audio features on the steering wheel are very helpful while listening to music and driving without getting distracted. What I really like the most about the car is that it has an incredible amount of leg room. Being 6'2", I've drove many cars and ended up with a sore ankle because the leg room was just awful for my height, this is the first car that I am able to relax while driving.

I went from the dodge durango 8 to the Honda accord 4 and love it....Wasn't sure at first if I'd have the pick up and go but I do. Also love the mystic green color. Had all the extras put on the car and it looks amazing.

I've been driving Jeep's and Honda's for several years now. I miss my Jeep but It was killing me filling it up twice a week. I bought the 6cyl. coupe with an automatic transmission (gets better gas mileage than manual). I think with the right wheels and tinted windows it will look great! It is a little slower than I expected,but I can make it to work and back during the week on a full tank now.

very reliable, handles very well on road, plenty of power, lots of safety features, great gas miliage, lots of interior room, very stylish. a very dependable and gas saving automobile.

My only complaint is that the car engine is loud and idles rough. I have the EX-L with navigation. I have owned the car for 5 months. I have been told the engine is breaking in, still?...we will see.

Bought Accord 08 to replace my Nissan pathfinder, it is really very impressive and vaue for the price
