Smooth ride
This car has to have the best ride ever! It is so smooth and the car looks great. I rode in the back seat and was amazed my knees did not hit the front seat and my 6'2 friend was driving. Amazing. My only complaint is the interior. I have the EX-L with leather seats and wood like trim. I love the trim but the while the steering wheel has leather there is this piece of flat chrome that looks so out of place--like they forgot to put the upgrade to the wood trim--it is the same for the gearshift. Ugly flat chrome instead of wood trim around the shifter. I did not get the navigation system--way too expensive. I can go to the nearest best buy or circuit city and get the top of the line navigation system for about $1000 less. What is Honda thinking? This car is expensive and I saw no need to add frivolously! Overall I really like this car and while I think the price is too high it is not as high as a BMW or Lexus and I think the feel and look of this car is right up there with those autos. Great Car.

The Best Accord so far...
I drove an '98 Accord for the past 10 years and it has always served me well and given me very reliable service. But when the '08 Accord came out I finally and reluctantly decided to sell off "Old Faithful" and bought an EX-L V6/Navi in Dec '07. After almost 2 months I must say this new Accord has surpassed all my expectations in performance and handling. The power of the V6 makes Highway driving so relaxing knowing that I have the reserve power if and when I need it. The luxurious Tan leather interior together with the Navi + BlueTooth has brought the Accord to the level of other luxury cars yet at a much lower price. IMO, the size of the Accord and it's huge interior puts to shame the small interior of the 3 Series BMWs, Audi A4s as well as the new 300 series Mercedes (I test drove a friend's Mercedes and found the driver seat to be cramped compared to the Accord). I love all the built-in features and am still trying to get the Voice Command to recognize my commands! My only complaint is that the HandsFreeLink is not fully compatible with my BlackBerry phone and will not import my BlackBerry phone book. Honda should have made it compatible with most cell phones. BlackBerry phones are getting more popular so it was a disappointment for mine not to be fully compatible with the HFL. Overall I love my new Accord and look forward to another 10 years of trouble-free driving pleasure.

The FINEST Honda Accord ever !
After tracking almost 2 months of research on American and Japanese mid-size car models, only two stands out for their performance, reliability and safety - Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. But 2008 is a year of HONDA ACCORD. My my, I have never experienced such smooth performance, stability, pick-up, mileage and comfort that I am enjoying with my new 2008 Honda Accord. People do compare sedan's outer body trim with BMW 5-series, but I feel its really unique and give elegant looks as compared to older Honda models. Moreover, range of trim lines gives tough competition to Camry. I admire engine performance and comfort while driving atleast 30 mile a day to job. Key features: Interior comfort, Outer body trim line, vehicle stability control, Rear deck wing spoiler (additional accessory) and obviously most reputed name of HONDA ACCORD !

Impressive, Very Impressive...
I bought a black-on-black 08 Honda Accord EX-L V6 this last November. All I can say is "This car rocks!". The ride is smooth, the fit & finish are tight, and the engine is powerful. It also turns a lot of heads. Most people think its a BMW. Before owning this car, I was a die-hard Toyota fan. The 2000 Camry I upgraded from was absolutely the best car I ever owned. I was in love. However, this floozy stole my heart. Toyota better start pulling some rabbits out of their hats or this car is going to clean their clocks. The only reason this car doesn't get a perfect score is because of the road noise. I don't know if its the tires or the car's insulation but the road noise is sometimes intrusive when I'm out on the highway. Most of the time its a non-issue though because I'm listening to the radio.

I love my Honda Accord
I have the Ex model with 190-HP engine. The car does not accelerate like my old Buick Le Sabre, but everything else is much better.

New/Improved
My reliability rating is based upon previous accord experience. I purchased the EX I4/5 stick Coupe to replace my '92 EX Coupe, same type running gear. Allot has evolved over the past fifteen years, great improvements as could be expected. I typically drive my cars til they drop/become too needy in the beyond routine maintenance category. I intend to drive this one for many years. Tight turning circle is a real improvement over my '92. Less visibility out the rear due to design but the optional sonic rear bumper makes parallel parking a breeze. The new four is smooth not punchy but it easily twitches the noses of many sixes out about town. Gas mileage is wonderful and it corners nicely. I drove the breadth of Pennsylvania last week and it performed very nicely. I?ll get back to you after the first 100k and let you know how I really feel.

Good start to a new era of expectations
I owned the 2007 Camry XLE V6 and now have the 08' Accord EX-L V6. Of the two the Honda takes the blue ribbon for interior/exterior design, (Honda could have had a stronger front end like the Camry). The Camry took the cake for smoother shifting and quieter highway driving. Overall the Honda fares very well with me but I have to say the shifting of the auto transmission needs to be smoother in the V6.

Not bad, but the handling is not what it used to b
Bought this car (LX-P) to replace a 2002 LX that ate its transmission at 130,000 miles. This is at least the sixth or seventh Accord in the family (along with several Camrys), and all the previous generational changes have been evolutionary, not revolutionary. It was a real surprise to drive this car. It has many of the ride characteristics of previous generations, but it handles more like a Buick. The power steering is twitchy, there is a lot of roll, and I would not want to make a sudden lane change on the freeway for fear of losing control. The interior noise level is also high at highway speeds. There is a noticeable whine to the engine or transmission that makes me a little nervous. Acceleration is adequate - better than the 4 cylinder Camry. I like the Camry V-6 (had two of them), but $3.50 a gallon gas convinced me to stay with a 4 cylinder engine. The radio is nice, and the controls are easy to use. Seats have more padding in the seat (where you need it) and back support is much improved. The power seat and the tilt/telescope steering wheel make it easy to find a comfortable driving position. The trunk is large, but I miss the split folding seat that folds from inside. Visibility is better than the Camry, although you can't see the trunk lid when backing up. I bought this car for reliability, mileage, safety features, and the overall value for the price. I expect to get all those from Honda, but I want sportier, more predictable handling.

Honda has won me over!
Honda cars never interested me before this one. I always considered the Accord to be boring but when I first saw this one, I knew it was going to be my next car. I test driven a Pontiac G6, Nissan Altima and Honda is far superior to both of those. I have the EX-L w/ Nav. This car makes you want to drive!.This car looks and feels more like the pricier Acura. A friend of mine has a 2004 Acura TL and he wants to trade it for this Honda but the v-6 engine with all the bells and whistles. Navigation w/ Voice commands is fun and interior is very spacious. This car will make you feel like you are floating down the highway. Great car with great design.
