Much Better Than My 2007 Accord

Here's my story. I loved my 2003 Camry but a gal on a cell phone in a snow storm hit me head on. A 2007 and up Camry has less headroom than a 2002-2006 Camry and it didn't fit my long torso...so I bought a 2007 Accord for the headroom last year. The 2007 Accord was a very uncomfortable car with narrow, hard front seats. So after 12 months and 15,000 miles I traded it for a new 2008 Accord LX-P. The difference in comfort for my body size is amazing. Have 1,000 miles on it and like it as much as I disliked the 2007...pays to take a LONG test drive. For me the new Camry wasn't an option because of the headroom even though I think overall Toyota is a better manufacturer. Honda has odd options (or lack thereof)..can't get an outside temp. gauge on an 2008 LX-P even though I could get it dealer installed on the 2007 LX! In the North East that's important to me so I just installed a JC Witney aftermarket in the glove box of the 2008! Well at least Honda allows the doors to auto-lock in the 2008...couldn't do that with the 2007! Honda needs to talk to me for it's focus groups!

great car, best accord ever

owned 2007 toyota camry le 4 cyl. traded for a 2008 accord ex.have had for 1 month now. my toyota had engine/transmission problems that they could not correct.honda has a lot more power and seems it grips the road better.people complaining about the price, i paid about $1000 more for the honda with the same options plus vehicle stability control.so far , no problems with accord. only problem is deciding who gets to drive it on my off days. it is a joy to drive. i am getting 24 mpg in the city. i have not figured highway mileage but i believe it will be a lot better.people considering a toyota need to take it on long test drive to feel the hesitation. i went on impulse without a long test drive.

I love my new car!

I have owned my Accord EX-V6 for a week and love driving it! My teenage children love how it looks! I looked at higher end cars and for the money, you can't beat Honda.

UGLLLlyyy!!!!!!!

The sedan looks like a Hyundai Sonato, then it looks like a Saturn, and mostly it looks UGLY without any style, boring, and No personality. Awesome interior, but does not balance out the ugly of the sedan. Most Accord sedan owners are usually mid 40's and up anyway. They are looking for a car to carry them past their 60's because the Accord lacks performance driving and was definitely beaten with an ugly stick.

Honda finally makes a wow car!

I've had my new accord for about a week. Everywhere I go people are turning their heads to look and everyone I know wants to know more and more about it. I get great mileage and performance out of my V-6. My favorite improvement over my 04 accord is the interior setup. I feel like I'm driving a luxury car at honda prices. Also, its faster than my brothers Lexus GS 300 AWD! and about 12,000 dollars cheaper!

So far, so good in Boston

I purchased a V6 LX-I last weekend and so far I have been impressed. This is my first non-Ford product since 1985. Traded a Ford Explorer (great truck, non great gas milage) for the Honda. I am enjoying the gas mileage, style, handling and performance. The drivers seat is a bit narrow a bigger person (6'2" 225 lbs.). The fit and finish is very good. I need to get radar detector - on the highway the car is so quite you have no idea how fast you are going unless you keep an eye on the speedo. The stereo sounds great and XM has been fun to checkout - you get 3 months free to try before you buy into the service. So far, so good.

Best Honda I've ever owned

Purchased the 08 LXP sedan in polished metal metallic on 09/22/07. 704 miles so far and I love this car. I have no complaints. This car has everything I want. I have noticed a little bit of "whining" engine sounds that my 06 lx didnt do but sometimes i whine too...so I guess its a perfect match. The Noise cancellation in the radio takes care of it though so I'm not concerned. Power is adequate for a 4 cyl, go with the v6 if you want xxxxx to the wall power. Impressed with the standard TPMS, VSA with trac control, ipod aux port, power drivers seat 16 alloys...nice car!

The best accord ever

I have had many accords in the past they have proven to be the best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The new one just surpasses my expectations of Honda. We all know honda was always not the best looking car but that all changed now. Do not get fooled by pictures, when I first saw the car online I hated it but when I saw it in person......WOW!!!! It is beautiful!!!

Very Nice car

The car drives well, has a lot of room, accelerates well with the 190 hp engine. Overall a very good value for this class of car. In the past I have owned luxury cars and this vehicle is on par with them at a much lower cost. Well worth the price.
