Electric Motor not enough powerful.

I recently leased a Leaf and love the super powerful speed up. I lease this hybrid vehicle because the lease offer is pretty good. It could save gasoline and money. It could run more than 700 miles for whole tan of gasoline. If the electric motor could provide more power, it could save more gasoline.

Best hybird on the market

The Accord Hybrid sedan (2017) has the best combination of modern technology, attractive design, and no-compromise features of any hybrid on the market. That's a bold statement to make with more and more good hybrids to choose from, but at this point in time, the Accord Hybrid offers all the features of a mid-size sedan, high horsepower of 212, advanced 3rd generation hybrid technology, and mpg of close to 50 mpg. I couldn't ask more from a car than this offers. And the price was discounted $6500 for an EX-L, so I got a fantastic deal on the car and continue to enjoy 600-700 miles of range on every tank of gas. For the size and features offered, there is no "golf cart" feel to the acceleration or ride of the Accord compared to the Prius. While an all-electric car may be even cheaper to operate. I like the feeling of having a core gas engine that I can refuel at any station and not be tied down to limited charging stations, limited cruising range, or long charging periods. If you are skeptical of Hybrids compared to gas engine cars, take a test drive and compare for yourself. With that said, I may encounter more expensive maintenance repairs down the road when the battery wears out or electrical system needs a specialized mechanic, but I also take comfort in driving a green technology vehicle that has less harmful emissions than most cars.

What a Car

This is the most comfortable Hybrid on the market. I am really glad that I waited to purchase a Hybrid that is this economical and easy to drive. It is so economical to have.

Trickle charger on new car?.

Since buying the car three months ago, we returned from trips to find it did not start. Advised by service to add a trickle charger and plug it in whenever we leave town. Nowhere in literature does it say this nor do they know how long we can be away before the battery dies. Wish I knew this before I bought. Previously owned other hybrids and was away longer but this never occurred. Towing service said this frequently happened with this car.

Accord Hybrid May Be the Best on the Market

The Accord Hybrid reflects over a decade of refinement of Honda's hybrid technology, without sacrificing performance, features, or comfort. I can't name a better combination of features and fuel efficiency that doesn't cost more or sacrifice passenger space or power to achieve high MPG. The 2017 Accord Hybrid was updated from the 2015 model with new dash display, shark fin antenna, slightly more aggressive body styling, better suspension tuning, and a combined 212 hp with the gas engine and hybrid motors. While not as powerful as a V6, the hybrid sedan is more powerful than the gas 1.5 liter 4 cylinder and gets 50% better gas mileage (48/47) city and highway. While those numbers seem overly optimistic, I can attest that they are accurate. I have driven the car for two months in moderate to cold temperatures, and it gets over 40 mpg even in the coldest conditions, and close to 50 or above in warmer temps. The fact that this car is a full featured Accord in every way except a fold-down rear seat means that the buyer sacrifices nothing to own a hybrid other than a slightly higher price tag. In my case, I didn't pay any more for my Hybrid EX-L than a 2017 version or a 2018 EX. I got a $6500 discount because the hybrids don't sell well and they are highly discounted. While buyers seem to shy from hybrid or electric cars, if you love technology and prefer high gas mileage over the more aggressive power of the Sport or Touring models, this car will fill your tech appetite. The 2018 hybrid will offer the fold-down seat and offer the other styling and performance improvements of the 2018 Accord, so take those factors into consideration. This is a one of the best hybrid values on the market, if not THE best.

Excellent value

I traded my 2015 Accord Touring hybrid for the 2017 Touring hybrid to get the driving lights (not available on the 2015), enhanced lane keeping assistance and upgraded GPS information.

Best card I ever owned

Rides well and smooth, a lot of security features, pretty silent as compared to my previous Accords.

sleek

I have owned Hondas before and known them to be reliable and also high in resale. I am now a single women and often buying a new car is a tad daunting. I did read about the hybrid accords and after visiting the dealership and driving it I was convinced it was the car for me. I found the car to be so quiet that I actually thought it was not running. The sound system in the accord was also superior and a great selling point to me. I asked to have a black exterior with cream color interior delivered to the dealership for me to make my final choice. I am very happy with the Honda accord, I feel it important to buy a car that is fuel efficient and also the safety of having the navigation system is wonderful, no more blind spots when passing a car on the highway. There are still a lot of features that I am learning, but overall I am very happy with my new accord. The aformentioned color of black exterior and interior cream.... well, "sleek" is the only word to end this review!!
