It was a good little car

The car was good on gas albeit a a little lightweight I used to constantly get stopped by the police and couldn't figure it out as I never got a ticlet until someone brought it to my attention that all the young punks drive Civics. Then I started to notice how accurate that was. Once I got the Honda Accord I never got stopped again (really)

5 Stars is an understatement.

The 2002 Honda Civic is more than just a car. It?s stellar reliability knocks out the competition, making it the top in its class. This vehicle is a compact car, making the performance slightly underwhelming, but still fun and easy to drive. The ?ahead of it?s time? design makes this vehicle stand out from the crowd. With a full tank of gas, a good CD, and a 2002 Honda Civic, you?ll be ready to travel the world.

Mine was a lemon

We had first leased this car back in 2002, when it was NEW. Even till this day, my mom still drives this car. But it was a lemon car to begin with. Once the warranty had ended, everything started breaking down on it. Just recently we had to take the car to a transmission shop, because the transmission was slipping. From the get-go, the transmission would clunk and jerk, when you come to a stop and then press the gas again. We currently have 130k miles on it. We had done our 100k tune-up. But after just recently, about a month ago, we dropped thousands of dollars on a rebuilt transmission, rear main seal, valve cover gasket, lower control arms (drivers/passengers), & crankshaft seal. But at least now, the car is practically a new car. Just got some body damage (like the paint cracking), but that's all age related problems. Car still drives great, BUT the lack of power is a little bit to take into consideration. But what can you say? It's a 1.7 liter SOHC (Single Overhead Cam), it provides enough power for a daily driver, saving on gas. Which to my mom is the most important; reliability, compact, economical (maintenance/gas).

My 2002 Honda Civic LX is a great car

I purchase my Honda Civic LX from Maita Honda in Citrus Heights. It has been a great car, with a very good service agreement for repairs. This vehicle is quite reliable, as long as you keep up on the maintenance of the vehicle. The service agreement I bought with this car has helped out greatly. I have a $100 deductible on my service agreement. The service agreement has already paid for itself. I paid $1,900 for my service agreement. Yet, so far this car has had about $6,000 in repairs that my service agreement has paid for. Beyond that, I've had to spend about $3,000 of my own money in maintenance for the car since I owned it in 2016. Real good car!

Great little car

The car is small and economic. It gets great mpg, and parts and labor are cheap if something happens. Trunk and backseat are big, but the backseat is hard to get to in a coupe as expected. The car is very dependable.

Most Economic and Reliable Car I have Owned

Excellent car. Bought it used with approximately 170K miles. Great exteriors for a 2002 year car. Amazing features like moonroof, power windows & doors, cruise control etc. Extremely reliable and economical if taken care off. Drove within city limits and on highways as well. Must buy if you get a good deal on it.

Decent car for its price

The car was nice but the dealer I went to did not know much about the car and had a lot of water damage to it the tranmission and everything else under the hood was rusty but the engine was brand new. A honda is a perfect car but make sure you buy it from the right place and that it is well taken care of
