Safe

We owned our entourage for 2 years. We bought it used with about 30-40K miles. We had to have the brakes re-done, which I thought was odd for a vehicle with less than 50K miles on it. Anyways That was it for repairs. Plenty of power and plenty of room. Two weeks ago it was in a horrible accident. My 17 year old sister was driving my kids (6yrs and 8 yrs old) to the park and was T-boned at an intersection. It was hid so hard that it spun and ended up over the curb. Both vehicles involved were declared a total loss. My son who is 6 yrs old was in the captains chair on the drivers side, 6 inches from impact. All of the side curtain airbags deployed. The side airbags at the drivers seat were deployed and aside from being completely scared out of his mind, he walked away with a headache from the airbag. My sister (driver) walked away with a headache. My daughter got out and walked away shaken up. The other driver was taken away in an ambulance. If this car didn't save the lives of 3 very important people to my wife and I, it definitely saved them from a lot of potential pain. I am extremely impressed and shocked with the safety of this vehicle.

Greatest Van Ever Owned

"The best vehicle I have ever owned. I like everything about it and this is my 3rd. mini van. Some don't care for the manual shift mode. I for one use it every time I want a quick getaway. This is a great brake saver. I think a lot of reviewers /owners don't understand how useful this extra can be. Try it, you'll like it. I wish the gas mileage were a bit better in city driving. On the road, I average 23.0 miles to the gallon. City is between 17 mpg. A peppy engine and a really comfortable ride for Family

Great Van for the Money--Love It!

We have had this van for about two years now. We bought it with 7,000 miles on it. Gas mileage isn't bad for such a big vehicle. Have had it in the shop twice for minor issues (overhead console squeak and sway bar bushings), but the dealership was great and fixed it right away. The van is very comfortable for long trips, and we love how it looks. It would be better if it had an MP3 player outlet, but the adapter works fine instead. We were looking for a Toyota or a Honda, but this van was so much less money with more options, we couldn't pass it up, and we are glad we didn't!

Best Van in the Business

Our 2007 Hyundai Entourage, is the best van in the business. Our dealer is in Somerset KY. I just could not use another dealer after being treated so good. They treat all the customers the way they treat me. This is my second vehicle from them. My first was a new Sonoda, (and then a another new grandbaby,) I called them and told him what I needed and he came up with my 2007 Entourage and it has everything I ever wanted on a van. We have never had any trouble that they haven't corrected right then. My van is beautiful, it is silver.

Worst Mistake Ever Made With a Vehicle

Owned van 26 months. It was in the shop 11 times. Traded my Honda Odyssey for the Entourage because I wanted the side curtain airbags that my Honda didn't have. Entourage sold me with it's safety rating and promises of increased reliability. Don't waste your money! Even if you happen to beat all the odds and get a good one you will lose so much money if you try to trade that it isn't worth it. Chronic dependability issues, horrible gas mileage, and absolutely no resale value. Stay away from this van!

Worst Vehicle ever owned

Purchased this vehicle and within 3 or 4 months it needed to be put in the shop. We had a difficult time finding a place that could provide an oil change b/c of difficulty with finding the required oil filter. Engine also makes clicking noises after the engine has been turned off. Another time the van went into service b/c key would not come out of ignition, and it took the repair men almost 2 entire weeks to figure out the problem. Do not buy this van!!!!!!

Great Van!!!

I purchased the 2007 Hyundai Entourage about 2 months ago used. I was amazed at how few I see on the roads so I thought I would give a review myself because I love it. It handles great, it is comfortable. The ride is smooth. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a minivan or SUV. I chose this over an SUV and I am so glad I did!

My first Minivan, and I love it!

I bought a one owner used 2007 model. It didn't have the bells and whistles but that is fine. To me it's just more expensive and more to fix if it has too much. It's been very reliable, larger than the oddessy which I also test drove. I think it was even better looking over all than any other van I saw out there. Great vehicle for the money!!

ok van for the price

I said I would not recommend this van to a friend because of the other reviews I have read in reference to the interior "squeaking" noises. My van makes HORRIBLE squeaking noises whenever you go over the slightest bump. The noise is coming from the 3rd row driver side plastic panels. It is quite embarassing when you have passengers in the car. I thought maybe it was just my van, but now I am wondering if it is a quality control issue for most of their vans. The dealership was NOT helpful at all in the beginning, someone from corporate came, and they were just NOT nice. Corporate rode in the van and just would not answer any questions directly. Truthfuly, they sounded like a politican skirting the issue. After MUCH complaining, service finally addressed the issue. Once the tech pulled off the panels, he could see where parts of the vehicle were rubbing and leaving very distinct marks. The insulation was worn, so they packed it with foam to keep the panel tight. Well, it worked for a while, but the squeak is back. It appears as though as you drive the vehicle the parts that hold the vehicle together become loose and you get the rattle and squeak noises. Corporate needs to look at it again. My guess is they know it is a quality issue and that is just the way it is.
