Vehicle Overview

Jaguar’s flagship sedan, the five-seat XJ, has exterior and interior design cues in the style of the XF sedan. The long-wheelbase XJL has five inches of extra rear legroom. The XJ competes in the full-size luxury class with the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Lexus LS 460 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
New for 2014
A high-performance XJR model replaces the XJ Supersport and is powered by a 550-horsepower, supercharged V-8 engine. The normally aspirated V-8 engine has been dropped.

Other changes include standard soft-close doors, enhancements to the available front-seat massage feature and a newly available 26-speaker Meridian premium stereo. The stereo uses microphones to amplify passengers’ voices to make conversation in the car easier. A new rear-seat entertainment system and new reclining, massaging rear seats are also available.

Exterior Highlights

  • LED taillights
  • Dual exhaust
  • Power trunk lid
  • Panoramic glass roof

  • still get compliments everywhere i go

cars been awesome to drive. lots of power but so smooth. owned the big Lexus, Mercedes and others but, none ever got the attention this one did. still looks like brand new ones and style has not faded. Bought few years used. let others take the depreciation hit. no problems at all.

  • Extreme fun and comfort. Elegant chaos.

Most fun car I've had since my 85 Vette. Beautiful design that gets tons of attention. Elegant interior reeks of style and class. Unexpected performance from the 3.0 Supercharged engine that will leave others in your dust. I have put over 60,000 miles on the car and have not had any maintenance issues. Overall I could not rate this car any higher. Love it!

  • Beautiful car

Good looking car, but reliability needs much improvement. Depreciation is terrible. cost to own a 2013 XJ is $35,000 compared to $35,000 to purchase.

  • THIS IS A SUPERCAR!

I recently purchased a preowned 2014 Jaguar XJ Portfolio. I have owned several Jaguars and have aways found them to be elegant and luxurious but this car exceeded my expectations for fit and finish. I feel that this is the most impressive interior yet! Gas mileage is decent due to the aluminum body and the supercharged V6 engine. The exterior style is a real departure from traditional Jaguar styling but it still has a commanding presence on the road and turns heads wherever I go!

  • Elegant design

Beautiful styling, great ride. I bought the XJL Portfolio , which has the V-6 engine, which is OK., however, I was used to a V-8 which I think has a bit more zip.
