Traded in Smart Car for Kia Soul

Having had a small car I know what to look for. The ride for the Soul is great for a smaller vehicle. The syling is great, and the interior room is great. Lots of color choices and upgrade models to choose from. I bought the base model automatic and it is loaded with power windows, locks, steering, cd player, cruise control and cd radio aith speakers all around. Add a great price and a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty and you cant go wrong

Traded SUV for Soul

Love, love, love my new Soul! More space than I thought it would have, good leg room in the back, dreamy gas mileage, great on the roads. Cannot love it more!

1st time buyer of a new vehicle- 2013 Kia Soul+

I researched the 2013 Kia Soul + for about 3 months so I had a good idea of what I wanted when my wife and I hit the dealership, we found what we wanted and bought one in Black! So far I've had my Kia Soul + for about 5 days and everything is great! I basically got everything on it except the Sun roof! It is surprisingly quick and very, very nice! The ride is smooth and the exterior noise is almost non-existant even WITH radio at low volume! My wife and I have had people all say they really like the style and features it has! It has remote start, Back-up camera (this is very cool!), blu-tooth, CD, Sirius radio (3 months free!) and power everything! So far my Wife and I are loving our 2013 Kia Soul+! If I can I'd like to submit a review after a little bit of longer time to say how well it's doing after a few more months, but don't think that will be possible

It's just the best for a little big car!

I've had this extremely atractive car a month and a half. I'v had other new car's in the past and always found something that needed to be fixed. Not so with my Kia Soul. I plan on driving this car for a long time.

Great Car!

I've had my 2013 Soul Plus for a month and I've loved every minute of it. Funny thing is that 2 months earlier I bought my wife a 2012 Mercedes GLK and we've chosen to drive the Soul on several occasions just because it's more fun. The Bluetooth system works great (haven't figured out how to have the sms texts read yet) and as someone who spends 4,000 minutes a month on a cell phone, never touching your phone but being able to access contacts, music, etc., is awesome. I get comments all the time about what a cool little car it is and then I proceed to let them sit in it and say their "wow's". I'm 6'4" and have more headroom than I have had in full size trucks. Overall, it's been great and a ton of fun. Small fuel tank means more stops at the pump but it's a small price to pay. Definately get the Plus, at least, as the upgrade on stereo, not to mention the lighted speakers, give the kids something to talk about once the sun goes down.

Economic, Safe, functional

Bought car for safety rating, cost, functionallity and so far it meets/exceeds my needs and expectations. For elderly man it is easy to get in and out of, its size and capacity if very functional, fun to drive. Great mpg which will allow me to more easily visit my grandchildred who are scattered in three different states. Love it.

Love my Kia Soul!

Great car, great price, good mileage. The Soul is very versatile and is just the right size. It's a lot roomier inside than it looks and it's very easy to get in and out of (unlike my Honda Accord coupe). I can't believe the number of cool standard features that come with the Soul--stereo, interior lights, fog lights, neat LED lights around the stereo speakers in the doors, and especially the back-up camera. It has a small turning radius and handles great. I feel totally safe in the car and love driving it.

New Green (Mint) Soul

Good car overall. Couple of problems. Black interior requires more frequent cleaning. Lesson learned here. Second, the car has 2 DC outlets located directly behind the stick shift. We had a phone charger in one and an iPod charger in the other. When charged, I pulled the charger out (one at the time) and the whole housing came out of the dash. I was able to replace it. It is not broken, just flimsy plastic. Mileage is not what it should be yet but I am hoping it will get better once the engine is broken.

OK, I don't match the typical KIA Soul owner, BUT!

I'm a bit over 50, and I'm not a Hampster...so I don't match the image of a "hip, college age kid that likes grunge and the newest bands". But strangely enough, we we recently bought a 2012 KIA Sorento SX for my wife, and a 2012 KIA Forte for my college age daughter....I saw a lot of grey haired folks like us driving out of the KIA Dealership in brand new Souls! When I talked to the salesmen and some of the new Soul owners, I found that the roomy interior, the ease of entering and exiting the Soul, and the feel of it being a bigger vehicle was drawing older folks to the KIA Soul like moths to a bright light! And the practicality and efficiency as well as the low price and high value didn't hurt either! I mean come-on....100,000 mile waranty! Wow! Fuel economy right around 30 or so, prices starting at around $16,200 for a Base model with a 6 speed automatic and a big shovel load of standard equipment that would put other veicles to shame! 4 wheel disk brakes..the competition has rear drums! Standard Air Conditioning, standard power windows, 6 way adjustable seat, dark tinted windows, power door locks, bluetooth wireless cell phone link with steering wheel controls, keyless remote entry, tilt AND telescopic steering wheel, rear wiper, AM/FM/ CD/Sirius 4 speaker stereo, USB input jack for MP3 player hookup, a govebox that can fit a 15" laptop! And enough safety stuff to get it a 5 star crash rating and a Top Safety Pick, as well as a rating of Best Initial Owner Satisfaction in the Soul's class! I'm getting right around 26 mpg, and so far (it's a week old!) I love it. Mine is the Soul Exclaim (!) model, it has the Microsoft UVO voice system that uses your voice commands to do various functions. It also has the thumping Infinity 8 speaker system that will rattle your teeth! The 10 year 100,000 mile warranty is just icing on the cake! This 2.0L Soul Exclaim has a zero to 60 time of around 8 seconds, and the 6 speed automatic can be manually shifted for performance, handling is a bit less than a sports car obviousily, but with the 18" wheels it does handle and ride nicely. The rear seat is almost "limo" like....comfortable and roomy, lots of head room and big windows, and if you fold the rear seats down, you get a LOT of cargo space! I love this Soul!
