My 3rd RX350 because it's an excellent automobile.

Meets my needs well and is well crafted and reliable. The only improvement I'd like to see is to eliminate the "post car wash drip". I drive off and water marks stain both sides of the car. I believe the water comes from the exterior rear view mirrors, that aren't sealed at the base well enough. Also, water comes down from the rear spoiler and water spots are left on the rear window and tailgate. I have to do a post car wash/car wash to get rid of all these water marks .

Used 2016 RX350 Base

I traded in my 2016 RC350 and 2018 NX300h for a used 2016 RX350 Base model with 19,000 miles on it. It has the Nebula Gray exterior and brown interior. The color combination is great, and I love the features and drivability of this car. Even though there's plenty of power, the vehicle is heavy. Driving in Sports mode helps with better acceleration off the line and when I need to punch it in traffic. The vehicle has only one warranty issue, the child safety lock is permanently stuck on the rear drivers' door, something I'll take care of when I bring it in for service. The only downside to the vehicle is the multimedia system. The mouse controller is absolutely the worst controller to try and navigate the menu. Lexus should have gone with a circular knob surrounded by hard buttons to access some areas (ie: media, enform, info, etc). The voice activation system is old school: the system is set up in buckets, so you have to say one thing at a time (ie: music, song, then name of song). The voice system on my NX was easier, you could tell it to play a particular song in one sentence and it would do it. Overall, I'm happy with my RX. It has good quality to it and offers most of all the features I'd expect in a luxury SUV. Now if Lexus can fix their media interface and do away with the mouse/trackpad....

Drives poorly

Multiple quality issues from jammed drivers door, small gas tank, rotors that last 2 years, $1000 oil and brake fluid service to noisy rear fan. The worst for me by far is the TSB on laggy trasmission which Lexus finally issued. Its better but still drives worse than my Honda van. Lots of hesitation. The TSB software fix removed the Sport plus drive option from the car.

DREAM Car, But...

Solid, fun, gorgeous and moves like a panther. Yeah, it's a little heavy so it doesn't have quite the acceleration of a couple of competitor luxury sport sedans (BMW 4 series or Audi), but it's solid as a bank vault. Great road feel without beating me up (like a Corvette I used to have; loved it but get tired of the rattles and slamming the suspension transmitted). This is not a ball's out track car. It's a great every day driver that'll get you in front of any traffic flow, onto any on-ramp in heavy traffic, or past any laggard on a two lane state road. I literally smile when in Sport+ mode. Bought it two years old off lease. Not a squeak or a rattle. The one thing I don't get is why Toyota/Lexus won't put in Apple Car Play or Android Auto. Frustrating. I use google maps because the Lexus nav system is needlessly complex and not user friendly. So I have to look at my phone instead of the car's display. That's just stupid. Also, the car doesn't get stellar gas mileage. But it DOES get the advertised EPA rating. That's the price for the added weight that brings other advantages that make the trade off worth it for me. Also, the back seat is not useful for carrying normal sized adults. I'm 6'2" and only a person with LITERALLY no legs could sit behind me even though I don't move the driver's seat all the way back. OTOH, there's so much room in the front that a normal adult can sit in the front passenger side and easily leave leg room for another adult behind them (though head room might be a problem for a taller person. I rarely go anywhere with more than one other person so not an issue for me. Bottom line (for me): this thing is a dream.

Great Vehicle

Car is amazing. Has all the latest safety technology/features. Beautiful design, great performance. We preferred the crossover to the sedan due to the extra trunk space with the fold down seats, but it was a close call. The sedan is also excellent to drive.

Car review hello

Car is pretty decent. New one has extra row of seats. Reliable and can last long with good resale value. A bit bland interior except for the new styles.

Comfortable and Reliable!

This vehicle was purchased to accommodate a very tall handicapped person. I have to say, it was a pleasure having this vehicle with all the features and comforts for the passenger (and driver). If you need a larger vehicle for any reason, I would highly recommend this one.

Love my Lexus

I?ve had my car for a year now and love driving it. I have a long commute each day and it makes the drive so comfortable. I love all the safety features and I like being up high. It fits 5 adults very comfortably.

lexus does it again

I can give this vehicle my highest recommendation-it is my third RX and by far the best. The new exterior styling takes some getting used to, but comfort , handling, and safety features are outstanding.
