Best Bang for Your Buck Hands Down!
I have had my Mazda6 Grand Touring for about 3 months now and I have logged over 7K on it in that time. It replaced a 2012 Toyota Camry SE that was totaled in a flood. Interior: The interior is spacious and very well put together with almost everything being soft touch materials. I test drove 23 different new vehicles before driving the new 6 and even fully loaded with every option in the Grand Touring trim it was less than 30K out the door and had options that even the much more expensive BMW's and Mercedes didn't have (huge waste of money in my opinion, whoever thought of creating a car where the oil has to be sucked out of it, and at the dealership of course, because of a lack of a drain plug needs to rethink their profession (BMW) ). The Tom-Tom navigation system is one of the best I've ever used and I am a long time Garmin user. The voice activated system works fast and easy at navigating to an address or calling someone. The 6 handles phenomenally in all weather conditions, stops fast when needed, and has the get up and go to get you out in traffic as well as put a smile on your face on those back country roads. As I like doing all of my own maintenance I was thoroughly impressed with the well thought out placement and setup of parts and best yet changing the oil was by far the best system and positioning of any car I've previously serviced, they actually use spin-on filters not the messy break easy cartridges that others are switching too. Even in traffic and spirited driving I still haven't averaged less than 29MPG and have a best fill up of 41.3MPG (calculated NOT by the onboard computer). As others have mentioned there is a little wind and road noise but compared to all of the other class leaders, Camry, Altima, Accord, Fusion etc., they are all very similar and it definitely isn't bad enough to deter from buying it. The Bose stereo in it has exterior noise cancelling built in to help keep things quiet as is. The styling was what caused me to walk in the dealerships door as I drove by the Mazda dealer I was trying to see what the good looking sedan was at the end of their lot. After test driving all of the competing class leader cars and being a former Camry and Accord owner, I was blown away by the sleek curves, stylish body lines, and use of high quality parts (doesn't sound cheap when you shut the door or trunk). When you pull up to a stop light next to an Altima or Camry or any of the others in the Midsize line up, you aren't blown away, and they don't catch your eye, they don't even look fun to drive. When you pull up next to a new 6 you think you're looking at a high end Maserati or Jaguar and are then shocked when you see Mazda's familiar badge on the back or front. The LED daytime driving lights look fantastic and are noticeable from a long way away so it helps deter those last minute traffic mergers from pulling out in front of you. Do yourself a favor even if you aren't or haven't been a Mazda fan, just go drive one, then go drive the others and you will be blown away. Toyota, Honda, Ford, Nissan, and all the others all make great well built cars (for the most part). Yes the Accord will give you a bigger touch screen but in return you get a horribly noisy CVT transmission. The Camry gives you a comprehensive 2 year maintenance plan but as a downfall you get outdated styling and an interior where plastic is all you see and subpar fuel economy when compared to the rest (in all fairness they are due for an update). The Altima was a close 2nd but the road feel was numb, the CVT about the same as the Accords still loud and awkward, their seats were however much plusher but that's because they are less sporty. The Fusion was a huge letdown, the interior seemed like it was assembled by several different people all trying to put their own unique stamp on things. Performance was subpar especially for a Ecoboost Turbo (costly if it breaks too) and the road handling was horrible, felt sluggish, and unresponsive, I was however glad to see that MyFord Touch has been updated (my wife has a Focus with the MyFord Touch...it's been a love hate relationship for all involved). All around i'm very happy with my Mazda6 and more than anything I like driving something that doesn't scream I work a mundane 9-5 job and just settled for what everyone else has, be bold and do it with a smile on your face and money in your wallet! Happy Driving!

Great Car
This car is perfect. Great mileage. I mostly bought it for the value (initial cost and gas mileage) and thought it was the most beautiful car in my price range. My only complaint, which is very minor and I knew before I bought it, is there is a little too much road/wind noise. This is my first Mazda.

What's better than Cadillac CTS or ATS????
The Mazda6 for 2014!!! It is a great vehicle despite some of the professional reviewer comments. The ride is stiff, but responsive and quick with the new electric power steering. The 4 cylinder engine is enuff and the fuel consumption is astounding. Recent 500 mile trip gave us 30 Mpg with just 500 miles on the odometer. Bought the Grand Touring loaded and have ONE WORD OF CAUTION concerning MCCR and FOW. Two abnormal slow downs attempted by the MCCR/FOW when passing semis in the adjacent lane. Both instances kicked the FOW slow down when the front of our car reached the adjacent rear of the semi. I cancelled the cruise and stepped hard on the throttle and avoided a potential rear end collision from the vehicle on our tail. Don't rely on the 5 stars for reliability as we haven't had it long enuff to really rate that. All of the other safety features worked well and we were enthralled with our purchase! Leaving for Omaha on the 2nd of July and will write another review after returning to Louisville, KY.

Great car
Had my new 2014 Mazda 6 for about 3 weeks now. I absolutely love it. I traded my 2010 Mazda 6 and would have kept them both if i could have. The new mazda is so nice to drive, gets great gas mileage and it sure does turn heads. I love my new Mazda 6

Awesome car!!!!
I have been driving the new Mazda 6 now for a month now and it's absolutely the most awesome car out there. So much room and it handles really well around corners. The Mazda 6 is a real head turner. I get around 40 mpg with it. Mazda's are such well made cars. Best choice I've ever made to buy one. I suggest everyone to get one.

Love it!
This car is awesome (Sport model)!! I filled up twice so far and will average right around 36 mpg for 70/30 (highway/city) driving! The car is fun to drive and is very comfortable on long trips. Nothing fancy with the interior design but I can live with that. I'm a former Fusion owner and tested every car in this class. My choice came down to the Altima and the Mazda 6 and I'm so glad I picked the latter. I've received many compliments on the car and like the fact that you don't see too many on the road like the ubiquitous Altima. Buy it, you will love it!!
