2017 Subaru Crosstrek consumer reviews

As far as I?m concerned, living in Canada where the snow is often not cleared, you have two choices of vehicles, Subaru or AUDI, and Subaru is half the money for the same traction. Any other type of ?all wheel drive? system, I don?t care what you call it, is not up to performing well enough when you need real traction. This vehicle is also tall enough to have proper clearance, but not to tall that it has poor stability. The new engine is very good on gas, almost as good as our civic was.

Loved the overall styling. When I would see one going down the road I was always proud to be driving a Crosstrek. It was a very reliable, comfortable car and my best experience overall was having an AWD to drive through the snow in the mountains. No other car I've owned left me feeling as safe and confident as the Crosstrek did. Cons: For a Subaru I was disappointed in the heating system and defrost. Living in Nebraska and traveling frequently to CO in the winter I was more than surprised to find out the heater was less than impressive and the defrost could not keep up with the sleet on the interstate. I drove at least 100 miles with an ice dam on my windshield because of the poor defrosting capability. C'mon Subaru! Also was not impressed with the windshield wipers. A new car should be streak free and keep the ice and snow off better than these did. Lastly on the cons, I never was able to use the hands free in my Crostrek. Not sure if all Crosstrek owners experience the same, but the mic in the car wasn't sensitive enough to pick up anything I was saying. When I did make a call - manually, because I could never get the audio to pick up what I was saying, whoever I was talking to always said they really couldn't hear what I was saying. I finally just stopped using it altogether. Overall though, a great car and I would have no hesitation buying one again. Next Subaru will have the eyesight feature. :-)

It's definitely a subaru. Car gets amazing gas mileage, and with the maintenance in check will never have any major issues, can really take a beating. Seats are somewhat uncomfortable though and suspension is stiff

Love My Subaru ??????I was very satisfied with My 2006 Legacy, I really would have kept it forever, but felt I diserved a New Car??

Safety first. This car is top notch for a new driver and learning. Interior is awesome with heated seats. Beautiful paint job. Perfect size of a car for a teenager

It is a great car so far. Comfortable ride. Compact suv. Comfortable seats. Plenty of leg room in back seat. Plenty of power. Nice color.

What a reliable and money saving vehicle!!! I previously drove a Jeep Liberty that wasn't as durable - cost me constant repairs and ate my gas and wallet- this Subaru had a smooth ride with rough road capability - and spacious- room for the whole family and even a roof rack !! In just one week I saved so much in gas money and insurance as the Crosstrek had an excellent safety rating

Dependable and cool styling. Needs noise reduction at about 70mphi. It is.otherwise an excellent car. The gas mileage is not bad you can get up to 28 mph under good conditions

I love Subaru .and the Crosstrek is a great value for the money. They are great in the snow and the Crosstrek just looks cool!!

It is a great car, I really love it, it does great in any conditions, I just wish it had better acceleration. It handles well in the snow or in any conditions, and the heated seats are great
