2002 Toyota Camry consumer reviews

This is the best car my wife and me have ever owned. The back seat is big enough for 2 car seats and has enough room for an 8 year old to sit in between them. We have had no trouble with this car what-so-ever. We have the V6 and we just turned 100k on it! It still gets 26mpg on the highway and 22mpg in town. Good job toyota!!!!

The car stalls and shakes every few months and leaves me on the road at lights frightened to take my foot off the accelerator. It's so scary. Nobody can fix this - tried throttle body cleaning, pcpvalve, battery, and other things. Still stalls. Took great care of this car = like new! What the heck is going on w/the stalling issue.

This is a great car to own, in fact hubby and I loved it so much we bought two! I have traveled a great deal with my car and the fuel economy is awesome! The commute is very comfortable and the 4 cylinder is zippy even up hills. I have over 90k miles and have had to put very little in the way of $$$ into this car. I bought both my Camry's certified used less than a year old.

Best car i've driven!With all the test drives I took in October of 2001 Such as the Accord,Ls,325i,and altima this was the absolute best! Very reliable to I now have 96,231 miles and there has only been some troubles with the radio. Totally get this vehicle and even since I am 73 years old its great for me to,so even your 16 year old will love it!!!Great for any family very reliable better than any bestselling sedan!

The shock absorber, around the wheels, are a bit weak. I have had serval issues with aligment and balance

It's something to have a car that about the only thing I don't like about it is the cup holder. Now my 2002 model does have the tail pipe a bit close to the ground. We have a little over 81,000 miles on it and it still drives much like a new one. We bought it when it was less than a year old from a dealer. (A "Certified" used car).

After having a Camry for 2 years now I have to say that this car is the most reliable and the best value of any car I have ever had! I love the comfort and ease that the Camry drives! I travel every day for my job so my car is my part time office and it is important to me to be comfortable and have something that I can count on! I am even planning to pass my 2002 model on to my 16 year old son becuase I know he will be safe with it and purchase a newer one for myself very soon!

Having a Camry in the City has been a great experience for me. The Camry's size and comfort make it a great car for driving to work or parking in the street. The great gas milage makes the drive home on the Holidays a lot easier on the wallet too.
