Buy Something Else, Anything Else
I ordered my SE 07 camry. After months of waiting, it finally came, and I wish it never had. I traded in a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee that rode much better than the 07 camry. What I hated most where the seats, they are very short under your legs and very uncomfortable when driving longer distances. I am 5'9", so maybe they would be ok for shorter people. The dash is SO long, and the interior is very cheap looking. The speakers are horrible. I added the BlueTooth, which was neat at first, but no one could ever understand me when I talked on it. I hated driving this car everyday. I traded it after just one month. This was my first brand new car, and what a terrible experience!!!

Best Camry ever driven !!
I am surprised to see that so many people left negative feedback for 2007 Camry. Folks, let me tell you. This is the best Camry out there and probably the best car in its segment. Go test drive one and you will end up buying one. I test drove Accord and Altima but at the end I settled for a LE V6 model with alloy wheels and remote start.

2007 SE = lemon
To make it short - this car is a lemon. 2 months and 4 visits to the dealership. I drive rentals more then I drive this car. It looks ok and drives ok... for Toyota. The main reason for me to buy this car was it's reliability rating and resale value. I was seriously wrong. It's the worst car I ever owned and now I'm going to get rid of it and loose a couple grand on it, so no resale value. This is the first Toyota that came close to how the car should drive and feel, but hey, I can't drive it. It spends it's life at the dealership. It's the first time I had to replace transmission on a brand new car or repair multiple electrical problems 2 weeks after delivery. Aside from the reliability issues the car is ok. It's not a performance car but the V6 version can do it's job. V4 is seriously underpowered. The seating is ok for an hour or two but then it becomes uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, the ride is not BAD but it's not good either. It's quiet and smooth, but most cars in this price range will do the same. It's no more then an everyday commuter. And better use it for a short commute, unless you really want to kill your back. Verdict: My 5 year old Chrysler drives better and has less problems then this brand new Camry.

Great car and good looking too
I admit it. I tend to favor cars that aren't hot or fashionable. I've owned Explorers, a couple of Tauruses, an Impala or two. You get the idea. I even owned a Camry before. All of these were fine cars that did what I needed. The 07 Camry SE is different. It has all that Camry quality and every feature I could imagine needing (like a JBL sound system and integrated Bluetooth and ABS and StabiliTrak and leather heated seats and courtesy lights everywhere and generous cubbies and bins and an engine imobilizer and on and on). And it is also a great looking car. All of the 07 Camry trims are good looking, but the SE is great-looking. The SE cowling and rocker panels, the spoiler, the black grill and headlight trim all add to the overall more muscular look of the car to create a very special appeal. I've never owned a car that other people have stopped me to ask about in parking lots. I've never caught people checking out my ride at stop lights before. It happens all the time in my Barcelona Red Camry SE. Good job Toyota. Really good job.

not impressed with 2007 camry
I have owned this car for about one month. It seems to have many small rattles and noises and the transmission seems to overrev while changing gears when cold. After it warms up it seems to shift fine. The radio speakers seem cheap sounding. Cup holders are small and useless. The v6 engine has great acceleration. The car looks good but I wish I had not bought this car.

Complete upgrade from Accord and 2006 Camry
I bought V6 Camry XLE from Bay Area Dealer in May '06. Paid premium price for fully loaded and sandmica color with Baige Interiors and keyless ignition and smart key amongst other super duper featyres. Ride is very smooth and quite. Interiors are distinctive and appealing. Doors are wider, car is more roomier than old camry, accord and even lexus, Power 270 HP is out of this world. Economy averages ard 28 - 29 on HWY easily (if not 30) and little below 20 in city. this is very efficient for a 270 HP engine. Definitely a super buy for the cost, was considering buyng Lexus but settled with Camry 07. I am still a happy camper after 5 months and ard 5000 miles on this car. Absolute buy for a V6 !

Do not buy this car, yet
I have had this car for several months. In that short amount of time the supporting plastic in the seat has popped up, and the car makes an incurable rattle in the front dash area. I have taken the car to the Toyota dealership at least three times re: the rattle and today was informed by the Toyota Dealership General Manager of the Service department - that they put these cars together with so much plastic that it is practically impossible to fix. I am out over $25k for this car, and it sounds worse than my son's 1994 Infiniti J30. This car is too glitchy to purchase now, especially now that the tax credit is down by half - wait until Toyota either trains their service departments, or they improve the quality of their cars.

Much improved handling. Feels like an Accord but with Camry smoothness & quietness. New seating a very big improvement and the most comfortable ever.

Don't settle for anything but the V6 w/up stereo
I am shocked to see the number of negative reviews on this vehicle, at the 5 month usage/ 11,500 mile mark this auto has been flawless, no post delivery repairs needed. The V6 engine/transmission power smoothness combination is reminiscent of vehicles costing thousands of dollars more. It is almost miraculous to have this kind of stellar acceleration available, and also typically attain 25-28 mpg cruising with a/c at 75 mph. City mileage has been in the lower 20's . Upgraded JBL 440 watt stereo is also a must, it is a clear and crisp beauty, and it is completely suited to the vehicle. After years of driving semi-underpowered compact cars to save 8 mpg, it is heaven to join the big boys with this car, and i still am able to put some money away in the bank and not guzzle all the resources. This vehicle's greatest strength is everyday driving and extended interstate cruising , it is not intended to be a sport sedan.
