Very impressed with the 2012 camry. Many conveniences for the average user. Family friendly. Love the trunk space!! Only wish is for a dummy proof bluetooth system -- I'm not technical!

Excellent car

Love the new Camry's SE model exterior & interior styling. I also get 36 to 38 miles to the gallon on highway. A very quite ride.

Hybrid XLE is Superb

This is our first Toyota and so far we are very pleased with its quality and performance. We drive the car about 150 miles daily (80% on I-95 and 20% in DC traffic) and the gas mileage averages over 47 mpg!! The car is very solid, comfortable, and quiet. Nearly 10k miles so far without any defects, complaints or problems of any kind. Highly recommend!

Love it

We purchased the base model, the Camry L, a couple months ago. Not many bells and whistles, no power seats, for example. It was a choice between a loaded Malibu or a base Camry and we made the right choice. It is very solid. We're looking forward to taking a long trip in it. Great mileage.

Most uncomfortable seats

The front seats are most uncomfortable for someone of small stature. The back seats are actually better.

took a test drive & felt it was just OK

My sales person told me to wait for the 2013 model that it should be a lot better car to drive and the interior will be updated.

2012 toyota Camry

I am very pleased with the redesign of the 2010 Camry. The exterior looks much sleeker and the lines of the car seem to blend very well with the front grill. I did not like the look of the pervious years. The 4 cylinder engine was a very nice surprise as well. It is pretty peppy and has the ability accelerate the car quickly when needed. The interior layout of the dash and center console is very well laid out. Although it did take some "getting used to", the touch screen is very user friendly and simple to use. Of course having all of the controls available on the steering wheel are also very easy to operate the center console. With some trial and error at first, I was able to become proficient with controlling the center console from the steering wheel. Of all the features that came with the vehicle, there was only one thing that I could do without. That is the satellite radio. It came with a trial offer but II did not find the selection to be all that great for the amount of money to continue with a monthly subscription. Plus, with owning a smart phone and having the ability to connect the phone to the system, I have my own version of satellite radio through the phone.

Base L model review

Bought the Base Model. compared to 2012 accord, sonata, gallant, altima, optima. all base models. honestly only the altima and camry made the list. average mpg is about 28.8. i dont do much hwy driving so i can constantly get this in the city. on the hwy if i drive it like a prius i can easily get 40mpg and maintain it. otherwise the 35mpg range is achieved. overall the driving experience is very quiet and calm. new electric steering gets getting used to if u came up driving an older car. brakes are pretty good i must say. has decent acceleration compared to older models. cruise control + bluetooth + ipod integration is standard. interior is very nice. th enew leather fabrics are good and has a more european car look. dont have the nav screen so cant comment on that. center console, controls, evrything is very well done compared to the cheap looking interior in previous model. well done on this front. seats---aaaahh unless you get leather its the same story on all the base model cars. huge boot. looks small from outside...but really deep. i've had a 1986 camry and current have this new 2012 one and a 2001 camry. huge difference between each decade. and yes i hardly have to do any maintenance on th eolder ones other than standard oil change and occasional brake pad change. thats it. thats why i bought the camry. i need a car to get me and my family from point a to b safely, comfortably, and all the time and i need my car to go at least 7-10 years. so after months of research and test driving the camry won over the altima for the reliability and maintenance costs.
