Car Ok - Driving was better with 2008

Someone must have put the clock in after they completed the design. The new electrical power steering is hard to get use too. Mine wonders all over the road.

I plan on owning this car for the next 10 years...

Im only 18, and this is my first car, and i love it. Its got that sporty look, its easily customizable, and it sure can move. I'll have it for a year in April, and i plan on owning this car until i buy a house. Its very reliable, and i believe that it will stomp all over the test of time for the next 10 years. Mic~

GREAT LITTLE CAR

Have owned the car almost two months with very little complaints. I purchased the LE model which has just enough of the convenience features that I was looking for (power locks, windows and mirrors. Excellent gas mileage and a very comportable ride with outstanding power and acceleration. Only quirks to this vehicle is the clock not being part of the radio and the automatic headlights--unable to turn lights off when it is dark.

all that and more!!!!

My bride and I have owmed several Toyota's. We have owed a Rav 4, Avalon and several Camarys. This is the first compact car. The design is very impressive. From the first drive we were sold. The fuel economy is awesome. We have appreciated 40 on the open road and 30 plus around the neighbor hood. The seats are very comfortable and the trunk holds the golf clubs with easy in and out capabilities. Totally satisfied!!!

UnHappy Customer

I've had my Corolla for six months now and it has a vibration or rumbling since day one. After six visits to the dealership and a set of tires later they finally determined that it is a axle problem and that some other customers are having the same problem. They have a call into the factory to find how to correct the problem. I have to wait another six weeks. I'm not a happy customer.

NICE CAR FOR THE MONEY

My wife and I do a lot of traveling during the soccer season. With Gas price on the the rise we wanted a car with good fuel economy. I did some research and test drove six different cars and in my opinion the corolla was the smoothest riding of the small cars. We love it.

Corolla S, Surprisingly Nice, Peppy & Fun

In April, we bought the new 2009 Corolla S with many extras (except for the 6 CD player, GPS and Blue Tooth features) and for under $20K. We love it. The 1.8, 4-cylinder has plenty of pep (they said the 2009 engine has been tweaked). We discovered the pep in a test drive after we first test drove the 6-cylinder Camry and Accord. We really wouldn?t have bought the Corolla if it didn?t have the pep as we were sure we wanted a 6-cylinder car. According to the dash read-out, our Corolla gets about 29.5 avg. mpg, in mostly suburban driving. It is almost an XRS model less the 2.4 L and the 17" wheels. But, this S model has the same styling as the XRS and with the wider stance surprisingly, does turn heads out on the road. The 16" alloy wheels look great on this black beauty. We added the side trim molding, the weather floor mats and the rear bumper guard, making it a little unique. Also, we added the cargo net which has come in handy several times. The interior is very comfortable for this size car and in fact seemed as comfortable as the Camry and Accord that we test drove. The thumb controls on the steering wheel to control the radio are a great feature to have and helps keep your focus on the road. Three in the back, without the hump in the floor, is very comfortable. The instrumentation on the dash is simple and not confusing to use like other brands we test drove. We love the moon-roof that either tilts or retracts and lets in a lot of light and helps to cool down the interior. Our S model also has the optional stability control and traction control suspension (normally standard on the XRS) making the back roads fun to drive. We keep this baby in the garage.

Traded my Accord for the Corolla S

My wife drives a 2004 Corolla and the 2009 is very nicely redesigned. I thought I might have a hard time adjusting from my Accord to the new Corolla but after a test drive, I was sold. I do recommend the S model for the sport package and nicer interior. I have had it 3 weeks now and completely love it. I would but the same car again in a heartbeat. Dont be fooled thinking this is a "younger persons" car. I'm 46 years old and all my "older" friends love it too.
