great truck but is rusting away.

frame is rusting away, steering pump, hoses etc rusting away, i'm told it's not covered under the recall, because it's not rusting in the correct place!!!

I must've gotten a lemon, everything breaks on it!

Something new breaks just about every time I drive it. Had several brake-line failures nearly causing a major accident, then had a power-steering failure with no sign it was coming, luckily I was stopped! Exhaust system blew out triggering CEL codes, heavy "clunking" from rear-end when turning; total junk!

Best bang for your buck out there.

This car is the best I have ever owned. It is cool. It is comfy. It is comfortable. And it is fast. I would buy it all over again no doubt.

Very Reliable and safe

I bought this for moving leaves and rocks and yard waste, in addition to being a a vehicle for my teen-agers. It has worked well and I don't need it anymore.

Best Vehicle I've ever owned

I'm 70 yrs old. I bought my 2003 Tundra new. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Used it extensively as a work truck until about 3 months ago. At that time i slowed down in my work so I did an extensive detail inside, outside, underneath, and under the hood just to make me feel good driving it. It now looks and feels like the day I bought it. Very minimum mechanical problems over the years. Real quality vehicle above and beyond the other brands I've owned, Ford, Dodge, and Datsun.

Great truck- Wish I could keep it onger

The v8 in this size vehicle is almost uncalled for- It is fast and powerful. Bit of a gas hog but what would you expect. Body style (I have the step sides) is about a cool as a pick up gets. Downside was the recall on the frame. Toyota replaced the frame bu tthe rust had hit other areas which leaves me concerned abot keeping it for too long. Really unfortunate, I believe I could have gotten 300K miles if the body holds up this long.

Dependability. That is paramount. And this car delivers that all the way to 300k miles. I used it to tow and for long road trips. Best truck i've ever owned.
