Gr8 Little Car

The Yaris is a fun car to drive. For such a tiny engine, it is a quick little car. The AC is cold, and the seats are comfortable. And most important feature is, in the city, with the AC on, it is getting 33.3 mpg(39 hwy). It has a decent factory sound system, pwr windows & door locks, and after driving it nearly 2 months, it's like the old song by QUEEN, "I'm In Love With My Car". I highly recommend this car. (btw, this is my 8th Toyota)

First Car

I got the 4 door sedan, 5 speed manual as my first car. I would honestly have to say, this car is amazing for a first car. I've gotten it up to 86xxx miles now and has been nothing but reliable since day 1. Since im cheap, i got the base model with no door locks, power windows, or power mirrors. I do hear a lot of people complain about how the dash is in an awkward place, but you really do get used to it, in fact it feels awkward looking so far down in normal cars to read the speedometer. As long as you take car of this car, it will get you from point A to B, which is all that this cheap car was designed to do. By the way, I really recommend lowering the car, because on long highway drives on a windy day, it tends to get blow like a leaf.

My space ship

Had the car since day one they came out. For being small and compact it's pretty comfy and not bad. At first I wasn't used to the speedo being in the middle but got used to it and i like it better there.great gas miles averaging 34mpg. Car has never gave me any trouble only had to replace battery and the belt which was time to anyways. I this the car looks good from outside all my friends gave it a nick name spaceship cause it's unusual look, what really separates this car from regular yaris is the lip kit on it And fog lights gives it that sporty look.

Great buy for the money

I recently bought the 2007 Toyota Yaris Sedan used and have been driving it for about 3 months now. I've been getting an average of 35 miles to the gallon and most of it was city driving. Handling and performance is what you would expect from a compact car. It's nimble and quick to respond. Pick up is good enough to keep up with traffic conditions. It doesn't seem to mind cruising at 70-75 MPH for long distances. Instrumentation is easy to read, seats are firm, adequately seats my family of 5 and the trunk space is roomy for a compact sedan. I changed the tires that were on it with tires that were more expensive but made the ride a lot more comfortable and less stiff. Overall, I'm very happy with it, especially at the gas pump.

Toyota yaris

Excellent for committee or city parking. This car has tremendous fuel economy. This isn't a car for those seeking luxury status.

Toyota Yaris 2007 4 Door Auto

Great little car. Great gas mileage.. usually right between 38 and 40 MPGs... very reliable. FAST... We have the 4 door automatic and there is a lot of room. More room than we thought.. and the trunk is nice sized for such a small car. We love the IPOD adapter... nice little car and very reliable.

Great Car!

A terrific car. Comfortable, easy to manuever, excellent gas mileage, and nice interior. Also, as reliable as a car can be, and extremely inexpensive parts. Highly recommended.

Great L'il car!

EXCELLENT gas mileage, especially on road trips, even w/ AC!! Only probs: prominent road noise in cabin & difficult to retrieve things that have slid under the seat.

Well it's a noisy little thing but

mileage is excellent, people tell me it's cute, and it's just homely enough that I don't mind letting the dog take over the passenger seat. This was my first used (sorry, 'pre loved') car and first not-a-Honda in a couple of decades. The price was right with low mileage and some time left on the warranty at the time of purchase. All things considered, it's been a fine little car for the money. As recall notices go, especially where Toyota is involved, the one I received last year was practically a love letter: some (flammable?) sound insulation had to be removed from the pillar. The Yaris was noisy to begin with. Minus the insulation, it's so loud at highway speeds that the music volume has to be set to Eleven. The rattles and wind noise are nature's way of reminding me I need to find a job. Even with just the dog and me, I miss the cargo space that I enjoyed with my old Honda CRX and later Honda Civic Coupe. I wonder how my 3-door Yaris compares to the Yaris 5-door and Honda Fit in this regard. You can have your power door locks and keyless entry, but the one frill I do miss with this very basic-model Yaris is seat-position memory. It's rather a pain having to reset the seat-back every time I flip it forward to stash a bag of groceries. In the Plus column - along with exceptional fuel efficiency - are the tight turning radius/easy parking; lots of odd but useful little storage bins and crannies in which to lose one's accumulated stuff; an accessory outlet for my ipod or Bill Gates' MP3 player; and fast, polite service at my local Toyota dealership. It's not my dream car or yours, but if you are also among America's long-term middle-aged unemployed and can snag a used Yaris with low miles, go for it.
