Stylish commuter car
This car has everything I want. It looks great, runs great, comfortable, and amazing on gas. Well worth the money. I plan on having this car until it dies.

Good so far
I bought this car as a gift for my girlfriend. She?s only had it about a month and so far there have been no issues. The back seat headrests are a little uncomfortable though.

Very reliable car
Everything about this car is great, but it doesn?t get the gas mileage I was hoping for & it doesn?t have a CD player other then that it a very comfortable riding car , quite as a back up camera & a great sound system . Cruse control etc.

Prettiest
Good. Road noise too loud. Rough ride at times. Hate nitrogen in tires. Blind spot over shoulder. Crumples too easily in minor fenderbenders.

Love it, but...
I read reviews and did careful research on the 2017 Yaris iA's reliability, safety, and fuel economy vs. cost. So after choosing this car online, all that I needed to do was test drive it to also be delighted with the leg room and adjustable steering wheel. Sold! But what I did not read in any of my research, I want to tell others: 1. There is no CD player or place to install one after factory, just a radio and plugs for external devices, which can play through the speakers. Since I have a bazillion CDs and a long commute, this was a big disappointment to me. I at least thought we could get one installed later, but no. So my workaround was to buy a portable DVD/CD player with its car (cigarette lighter type) power plug for about $50, which unit is small enough to fit out of sight under the seat when the car is parked. Mine is 6"x7". Perfect! 2. We had to sign acknowledgement, toward the end of the purchase paperwork, that if we used regular metal snow chains or cables on the wheels, they would generate static electricity enough to fry the more than 100 computers the car has, which would not be under even the extended warranty we bought. The guy said, no problem; we are in Southern California. However, we have a cabin on a steep hill in snow country. We asked what we should use then and he said rubber ones. Ok we got it home and looked online where to buy rubber snow chains. Guess what!? The only ones we could find are for icy/mud conditions for tractors and ATVs etc. - none are roadworthy! THAT has yet to be resolved! I still am looking for what others have found! This may not be the only newer car make with this problem, by the way. But I still love my new Yaris iA!

excellent car with plenty of standard features
This is a great car for my needs. Small enough to move through traffic but large enough to carry things, and passengers. High gas mileage is great and the 6 speed transmission performs fantastic. There are few options and what would be options on other automobiles are standard on this great looking car.

Very, very cheap.
At six weeks, it has a paint chip on the hood and the incredibly fragile vinyl inside has unexpected scratches.

Great small car
This is my first car, so I researched the top ones and the iA consistently came on top. I wanted good storage, great gas mileage, comfortable ride, and reliability. In comparison to the Honda Fit I test drove, the iA felt more solid on the road and has a much nicer looking interior. The trunk is actually surprisingly large. Checked out the Mazda 3, but it was pricier and not as comfortable. The Kia Soul (+, I think) was really nice inside (more storage, larger), but the gas mileage was significantly lower and the price significantly higher. Although I don't usually carry people in the back seat, it has leg room to make it comfortable for most people. Really happy with the iA.
