It is very nice and reliable SUV.

This is an excellent SUV as compared to other in its class. Good leg room, lot of features. I have SE model which is missing one feature which I thought would be there. It is auto back door closure. Should have a button to close back door automatically.

You've gotta drive this SUV!

Best Vehical I've ever owned... roomy like a Suburban and sporty with excellent handling like my Passat. All the electronics overwhelmed me at first but now I both rely and enjoy the benefit of them.... almost drives itself! Very satisfied with the sales and service staff... and the free washes are great!

Nice to drive SUV

Drove 8000 miles so far with no issues. Very smooth. It could be considered a little underpowered, but it’s not a racing vehicle. It’s perfect for highway and city driving. Lots of room for kids. Love the off-road mode too!

Great spacious SUV

This vehicle has much more space than my previous Highlander, very comfortable on long trips, 0 complaints after a year of ownership, can't say that about other new cars I have owned. The only down side is the 20 mpg it gets, but is comparable to other SUV's in this class.

Best Mid-size SUV!

This SUV kills its competitors. Tons of room every where and they thought of everything when they designed this vehicle. So happy we found and ended up purchasing it.

Great vehicle for the price!

This is VW’s newest large SUV, replacing the Tourig model. It is very roomy—the first , second and third row seats all have plenty of leg and head room. German technology is the best. The ride is quiet smooth and comfortable. The V6 engine is more than adequate to navigate long distance trips and mountain hills. It has one of the best 8 speed transmissions made today and highway mileage using regular unleaded is around 25 mpg. Price ranges $35,000 to $50,000 depending on optional equipment— a great value for what you get.

This thing is an Awesome Spaceship!

I have to say that this is the most killer car ever, I Love it.... in this price class and this size. I'm a big guy and I use the car for every day use and for hardware store runs and packin' up the gang with all their gear and etc... really don't need a super luxury car, but this thing is well appointed and ultra roomy and comfortable. Sweet sound system and dash controls. An unbelievable sunroof, great handling for a truck this size, and as far as power,,, scary..280 horses, this thing halls butt, but this is not a sports car, so you are really not going to be doing a lot of road raging, like you might if you pick a smaller and $30,000 or $40,000 more expensive Porsche or Beemer or Audi SUV or something like that... I think this thing, with it's 6 year bumper to bumper warranty, is one of the best bets in this class right now for sure...It's never going to be a Lexus 570, but I'm lovin' mine! Good luck and I hope you get the rig you want :- )

Well design nice vehicle

We traded in a Highlander for the Atlas. - hands down a great decision. The Atlas is built better, rides nicer, is roomier, has better tech, all around a better vehicle. They are not cheap cars, but you get what you pay for. We did have two very minor issues one with the memory seats not working and the fuel door latch had to be replaced but otherwise seems rock solid and you can't beat the warranty on this vehicle. We bought it with 14,000 miles certified so the CPO warranty plus the manufacturers' warranty puts us at something like 84 months, 84000 miles. Can't beat that. Very pleased with our first VW purchase

This is the most boring $35k+ car in history

My wife just got this thing certified w/17,000 on it. I was out of town when that happened. I don't know what she was thinking. I nearly died of boredom driving it. There is absolutely nothing inspired or inspiring about it. I've driven conversion vans with more personality. I'm going to eat the trade in and be rid of it ASAP.
