2018 Volkswagen Atlas consumer reviews

I had a 2014 Passat and purchased a small covered utility trailer for camping, As the Passat was not designed to tow and I was happy with it I looked at the New Atlas to fulfil the need and tow my 1600 lb trailer.I found I could not count on the fuel economy for trips as it was constantly changing going over the same rout and allowing the RPM to go to over 5000 on the expressway at 100 kph. I can not see this vehicle towing 5000 lbs. I complained and was told to use the transmission in Manual to keep RPM down. At over $56000.00 THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT LIVE UP TO ADVERTISEMENTS . The dealership has not been helpfull. I have been waiting 4 months for a new fitting to turn off my engine light I am now told that it needs a new battery after only 19 months continual problems I would not recommend the car

This vehicle is exactly what I was looking for. Smooth and comfortable ride with the reliability of a Volkswagen. Love the look of the exterior, and the clean lines of the interior. I drive a lot for work, and it gives me the room I need with 2 rows of folding seats in the back to carry the materials that need to go with me to jobsites!

Very roomy and classy styling. The car is exactly what I wanted with the features I wanted. Definitely an upgrade from my previous vehicle The Atlas has good reviews and one of 3 makes I considered

This car has met all of my needs and my families! We love the interior design all the way to how great it drives!!! And the gas mileage is so great!!

The best investment that I have ever made! Doesnt get any better than this. Great leg room! Great Speaker sytem! Great gas mileage! Alot of space!

After testing 5 other third row SUV options, the Atlas rose to the top with a third row that by far provided the most space, unmatched 6 year 70k bumper to bumper warranty and 5 star safety raring. It was fun to drive with a tight turning radius. Perfect family car that looks as good as it performs.

The Atlas from the outside and inside is great looking car, the exterior is sharp yet simple. The inside also looks great and the infotainment center looks and works great, and looks is about all you get for this car, even equipped with the v6 it is incredibly slow and gets bad gas mileage (the tank is also tiny so the atlas is not ideal for road trips) although it drives very smooth. The interior is appears nice but the seats are very stiff, especially the rear seats, and also there is only two air vents in the back! If your just gonna use this car to take the kids around town it’s great anything more than that I’d look to the competition.

Love, love this car! It has a ton of safety features that our important with two small children, plenty of leg room, especially in the 3rd row. Also doesn't take away from the trunk space. Well done, Volkswagen.

This vehicle is great from what we can tell so far. Meets all of our needs and then some. Staff was very helpful and never pressured us into buying. I would send them business from anyone that asked .

Apple Car Play has made me more productive! My VW Atlas has heated seats to keep my butt warm, all the bells and whistles to provide a great user experience, it's a smooth ride and I'm really happy with it!
