The space is amazing and the storage behind the 3rd row seat is huge compared to other midsize SUVs. I love the vehicle so far. Its plenty of space for my family of 5.

Purchased this vehicle new 2 weeks ago. Late model 2018 production. So all 8 recalls don't apply to my VIN. Have already had it in to replace the front strut boots that were rubbing and making noises while driving. Came out of a 2011 Honda Pilot and this is my 1st VW. Pros: Smooth quiet ride, lots of space, 4motion, int/ext design, good warranty. Cons: Odd driving position? Arm rests are too low, no ambient spot lighting inside, under floor storage area is not flat, no mute button on radio, V6 could use more power, remote start only works when it wants to. Questionable reliability. Overall it's an OK vehicle. I would have waited for the new Explorer, Telluride or Passport, but my Pilot needed extensive repairs at 152k miles so I rolled the dice with this one. Getting 20+ mpg in Eco mode.

We test drove several vehicles (different makes/models) and kept coming back to the Atlas... BEST DECISION we’ve made and hands down the best vehicle I’ve owned! Plus I get so many compliments! I love looking at it in my driveway! 🙃

Quiet, responsive, intuitive, luxurious! I have had other SUVs before, but this one is by far my favorite! The interior like room is phenomenal, and the third row seats work well for the largest of men.

I shopped for several weeks until I found a 7 person SUV that I thought would have great value. After driving it for three months I am still thrilled. SE with Tech gives me more tech than I have been able to process. The apple car play with Waze is a great tool. Comfortable, quiet, extremely roomy and compliments all the time on exterior and interior appearance. Not a self driving car but with driver assist and all the safety features it is the next best thing. Oh and good mileage as well consistent 24-28 overall. easy access to 3rd row seat that actually has room to place your legs and is even comfortable for two adults.

We are a growing family and needed something bigger and a second car. The Atlas offers all that we want. I would totally test drive it. The 2.0L may seem like a little engine for a suv but the 2.0L Turbo really moves.

I literally drove every 6 passenger mid-sized SUV on the market. The VW Atlas is the largest, most comfortable SUV available. I have 4 teenaged boys all of whom are over 6? tall. This was the perfect fit! Roomy like a mini van versatility of an SUV.

We have had this car for about a month and are loving it so far. It is spacious and very comfortable. It has a beautiful look to it as well. Our kids are loving the 3 row seats and the fact that we still have trunk space when the 3rd row is up is a huge plus for us. Loving our new car!

This car has everything my wife and I needed/wanted and could ever dream of. Everything detail seems perfect. Every feature usable. Every surface beautiful. Not to mention the ride it provides! Oh my the way this Atlas handles I don't believe I'll ever drive a car with a more smooth ride.

Beautiful car and full of great safety features, very quiet to drive and plenty of room for our entire family. Would recommend for sure. !
