Best car I've ever driven

I currently two of these cars. They are amazing. So far, one of them has only gone through 5 turbos! They are so much fun to drive, and an exceptionally fast car. I believe the 0-60 is around 4.3 seconds. This is an absolute beast of a vehicle and I would highly recommend!!!

all around best vehicle under $5k

The 4th generation Volkswagen Jetta's are in my experience one of the best vehicles available under $5,000. They are reliable vehicles with a wide variety of options available to consumers. They are comfortable, have multiple engine choices for more power or more fuel economy, and are cheap to repair when the time comes. I recommend them to my friends all the time when they are looking for a new vehicle.

Best car ever

I have put 365,000 miles on my Jetta TDI Wagon. It drives like new. Will cruise at 80 mph all day long. It gets 46 mpg. Is cheap to maintain. And will haul 36 bags of mulch.

It was a suprize to me how fun to drive it is

I now like German Cars, I found this one by chance in a drive way and made offer they excepted and I drove it home, it handles great and shifts (A/T) very sporty (pulls hard) even though turns It has the typical problems but driving is not effected at all

Good commuter car I've owned

I've owned this car for some time now. The TDI engine in these VW are extremely reliable when maintained. Just like any German car, it's all about being on top of maintenance. You'll read reviews of VWs having all these issues but this was never the case for me. Cars are built/designed by humans and not everyone's is perfect, plus its mechanical so it does need servicing at one point. ITS ALL ABOUT MAINTENANCE!! If you take care of it, the car will take care of you back. The 2005 old body style of the Jetta might not look so appealing but it's a perfect car for commuting. I owned the wagon version. The back seat space of the Jetta is kind of tight for full size adults but being a Jetta it's a compact sedan/wagon. The interior doesn't seem outdated if you get the 04-05 years. Seats are comfortable on long road trips. The perfect combination for this car is with the diesel engine since its extremely good on fuel (500 miles avg on a tank). It being a diesel you have to keep In mind that parts a more expensive than for a normal gasoline engine. These engines are extremely well designed and engineered. They may not be fast, but enough to get you from point A to B. Looking at everything designed on this car, you can see the amount of research put into it by VW. If you have the opportunity to purchase one, I'd say go for it. I'd recommend these older PD TDI engines as they are pre-emissions. They only have one catalytic converter and a exhaust system. It's doesn't have any of the DEF/DPF systems found on newer Diesel engines. They're fairly easy to work on if you have the VW service manual. I recommend these older TDIs to anyone looking for a car to save on fuel.

The interior and exterior design is very nice

This car is really caught my attention because of the design inside and out. I loved how it had leather interior and sunroof. On the outside it is ?cute?. I?m sure if I bought it from a reputable source it would have been a reliable car.
