Used 2019 Ford Edge for sale near Plainwell, MI

We have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD which replaced my wife’s older Explorer which she drive for many years and the Edge has been a real pleasure to drive. I had two successive Expeditions for business which I drove for around half a million miles. So, in late 2022, when we decided to sell the Expy and downsize, we decided to “upgrade” my wife’s Edge and I would keep the 2013. We searched for a good price on a 2019 Titanium and enlisted the help of a sales rep at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC who had found the 2013 model for us. He found a 2019 Edge ST in Performance Blue with reasonable mileage and not even a scratch!! The interior was immaculate and the panoramic moon roof was the clincher. As an “outside sales rep” for 45 years, I have driven two million miles. During that time, we have owned Volvos, a Saab, Chevrolets, a Chrysler Concorde, a Pontiac, and a bunch of Fords. This ST is the best vehicle we have ever owned!!! Zero to 60 in five, great handling, quiet ride, and 29.7 average on the road at interstate speeds!!! I cannot say too much in favor of this car. I took my Rav4 Hybrid in for a transmission and trans axle fluid change and had the pleasure of Sara Miles as my service coordinator. Even though it was a routine low cost service, I felt she gave me the same attention as someone spending thousands of dollars. It was great communication from start to finish, she hooked me up with a great loaner car, and the final price was a little lower than was originally quoted (of which was 25% lower than Metro Toyota in Kalamazoo). Stephen Lacy was the service technician and he left my car cleaner than when I dropped it off and even honored my request to pull and save me a sample of the old fluid. Even though I live in Kalamazoo, I will drive 30 miles out of my way to Sunshine Toyota for any future needs!

I really like this vehicle. The edge has great space and ergonomics. The technology packages make the driving experience enjoyable and safe. One problem with the vehicle is the infotainment system that is unreliable. I have had it replaced once and it is again not working properly.

Perky Knoll is such a wonderful guy to work with. We have bought vehicles from him for many years and he always goes the extra mile to make sure we are satisfied with the vehicle and service. Perky and the support staff are very responsive anytime we have any concerns or questions they work to get us information right away.

Until 2017, my wife and I had been driving only 4WD vehicles (Bronco, Explorer, two Expeditions) and then we bought a used but fairly dressed up 2013 Edge SEL AWD (Nav, BLIS, V6) and immediately fell in love with it. No major issues except one brake problem which was totally corrected by the dealer for a teeth jarring $800! But it performed very well (not like a Corvette!) with 280 HP and really tight steering. So, when it came time to sell my second Expedition, I took the old Edge and we bought HER a ‘19 ST with the Performance Blue exterior. This one truly drives like a dream even when it’s not in sport mode! It’s fully loaded except for performance brakes but the brakes in the ST are beefed up anyway so the two Edges really drive differently. We will be 80 soon and this car will see us out! I hope we can avoid a speeding ticket!!!!?
