You know it's going to be a great review when you go from getting a letter in the mail to driving off the Hawk Ford lot with a brand new Silver 2018 Ford Edge. The promise made was they were interested in our 2009 Edge. The promise kept was we would find out how much they truly wanted that car and a new car sale. During the whole experience with Hawk Ford we were blown away by the level of professionalism coupled with true interest in us and our needs. We never felt pressured or duped into getting a car that wasn't absolutely right for us. We haven't been car buyers in Illinois, preferring to get new cars back in our home state of Michigan. Hawk Ford certainly changed our minds on that point. Because of an overall great experience we will be back for more new cars. In the mean time, I'm going keep talking to friends and coworkers about our new car dealership, Hawk Ford!

Perfect for a family of four, loaded with friends (seats 8) towing my boat or camper. I've towed my camper all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, etc. and towed my boat to Florida and back. Plenty of power climbing mountains with the camper. It's just a great truck...I love it.

You done good! This was my first visit to your new location. I came in without an appointment for just an oil change for my 224K-miles 2002 Camry, suspecting, however, that your multi-point inspection would reveal some other repair needs. (Incidentally, the brief written descriptions of the proposed repairs were extremely helpful.) Boris Kotesky was my service associate, and he did such an oustanding job: reviewing and explaining recommended repairs, estimating time required, costs, etc.--always friendly, knowledgeable, business-like, and professional, and a fine gentleman too. It has taken a few visits to complete the services suggested, including sway bar bushings and links, front brakes, steering rack, and rear struts. So. I became well-acquainted with your waiting area (also took time to visit the new car showroom to see the new Camry and Avalon). I like how you have different types of seating for TV, private computer stations, coffee and snacks, and room to relax and roam. Payment was easy with your capable and friendly checkout lady. sorry I don't know her name.

I was nervous to make my first vehicle purchase at a dealership, and I had been to several Honda dealers in the area before I found Bettenhausen. I knew exactly what I was looking for, and I had seen a specific vehicle on CarGurus, so I called to see if it was available. I scheduled a test drive with Brandee and came in within 15 minutes. I was surprised that she handed me the keys without riding along; I liked that I had the freedom to test all aspects of the car without a salesperson breathing down my neck. When I got back to the office, Brandee went over the vehicle history report, and everything was very transparent. The cubicles are private yet spacious and I enjoyed the atmosphere more than any other dealership I had visited. When I decided that I wanted the car, I expected to be there for hours completing paperwork or haggling with prices. Brandee explained that they stay competitive in the market (the price for my car was more than fair based on KBB value) so their prices are bottom-line, and therefore no need for drawn-out negotiations. When she went over the purchase agreement, there were no hidden fees. I was out the door in about an hour, and it probably would have only been 30 minutes if I didn't have a personal payment issue. I was worried about my rental car and asked if I should come back the next day to pick up the new car, but Brandee offered to call Enterprise to have my car picked up, so I was able to leave immediately with my beautiful new (used) car. Based on my experience, I would say Bettenhausen Fiat holds themselves to a higher standard. They were trustworthy, knowledgeable and efficient!

It is a perfect SUV. It has enough room for the whole family! It also does not feel like your driving a large SUV with it's amazing pick up. I test drive everything from the suburban to the pathfinder, none of them compared to the expedition.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. I recently traded up from the Explorer because I needed more room. The only thing I do not LOVE, is the cargo space is tiny, in comparison to my explorer. It is very nice, and roomy. I have 6 children, two of which are teenager boys close to 6ft tall, they fit in the back seat nicely and have enough space to breath. LOVE LOVE LOVE this vehicle

Quite pleased with your service department, overall. Folks at the dealership are always pleasant to deal with and strive to be helpful! My only 'issue' is in fact not with the dealership's service department nor the personnel...but is rather with the difficulty in obtaining body and interior components for my (2002) Ford Escort ZX-2. ...After my car was past 10 years old I've noted that it is nearly impossible to replace items such as interior floor mats...the plastic headlamp covers and items that over time become worn and that I would like to replace or otherwise re-furbish! Ford...(and other auto manufacturers, likewise)...provide little in the way of resources to allow owners to replace worn interior and exterior trim items and even certain mechanical components...once vehicles become more than a decade old. Some of us who purchase a car new and who take care of and maintain pride in owning it for long intervals, are thus 'frustrated'...discovering we are left to our own resources once we eventually do require replacement parts to maintain our vehicles to our satisfaction. I do NOT hold the dealership responsible for this...but it is unfortunate and frustrating when one is unable to diligently maintain the vehicle to high standards past 10 years due to unavailability of replacement components. I wish Ford and the other manufacturers would stock replacement items for longer spans, so as to accommodate 'long-term ownership'!

My family and I traded in a 14 year old 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition which had 218,000 miles on it, for a 2016 Limited (w/ 35,000 miles). We were extremely hesitant because we loved our 2003, but frankly, we started to be concerned about long road trips and runs to the River (towing our boat) multiple times a summer. All I can say is we made the right decision. I cannot believe the power of the twin turbo v6 over the v8, WOW. Where do I start: The overall handling, pick-up, steering, etc., is all incredible. I was a little taken aback by the plastic air vents, which could have been made a lot nicer (our 03 had better quality vents), but that's my only gripe. If you are on the fence, do it. Ford really hit it out of the park with this vehicle, you will not be disappointed.

This SUV is a dream to drive and rides so smooth. Comfortable seating for 7 and easily accessible 3rd row seating. All the latest technology makes the Expedition easy to maneuver. Gas mileage up around 23 mpg so better than F-150. My best vehicle so far!!

Long story short, you cannot go wrong with them. I went to a car dealer for the first time in my life. I did some research online though. The communication and process were very easy. I test drove a few vehicles. I was given all possible rebates. Paul, the salesperson found all applicable rebates for me and presented the best deal for me. I also had A-Plan from Ford. From the first visit until the last moment of purchasing the car all of my questions were answered very patiently and I ask a lot. When I left the dealer I only had one question in my mind; what's holding me back from purchasing? I contacted a few other dealers afterward to learn that there is no negotiation over A-Plan discount. However, I felt more comfortable with Bredemann people. It is very obvious they want to build a long-term trust-based relationship with their customers. Here are 2 examples for that. First, after the first visit when I was just checking the vehicles, when Paul learned that I do not have a ride back, he drove me back to my place. Second, once I completed my purchase and was heading back in my new car, Paul said: "Just let me know whenever you have any question."

Roger did a fabulous job of anticipating my questions and concerns and intuitively new exactly what I wanted in my new car. I dropped in unannouced at 4:20 pm on a Friday. The Service bay was jammed with people dropping off their vehicles. I had an engine light on and my entertainment system was acting like it was possessed by a poltergeist . Bob read my code ensuring me the problem wasn't urgent. Good. Yet, he said the head of service , Michael jozwiak, knows how to re-set the entertainment software and would see if he could come out and try. He did, it worked, all within 30 minutes amid near chaos. This was my first time at your dealership and could not have been more impressed with excellent service. I am Director of Sales in the Construction market and this is the type of service we deliver each day, which is not the norm. Kudos to your team and their commitment to outstanding service, unfortunately , it's not commonplace . BTW, I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee at St. Charles Jeep, and did not have a good purchase experience and will now direct all my future business to Dupage Jeep. In the proper fashion, you've won my business. Thank you for doing things the right way.

As I was walking up to the door Nick opened it for us, greeted us, and immediately introduced himself. We were there for a specific car (2013 Cadillac Ats) he found it on the lot and we were off for a test drive. He answered questions and working with him was a pleasure. We were in and out in about an hour and a half including the test drive. I bought the car and it was a great experience.

I’ve become very loyal to the Expedition. I have never had a problem with any of them. My last one I rolled over 150k in miles. The mileage isn’t great obviously, but the versatility is amazing!
