Great buying experience!

I'll start at the beginning. The search, I knew exactly the truck, trim level, in Ruby Red tint clear coat color and option packages I wanted. After countless hours studying window sticker PDF's I found that none of the numerous Ford dealers here in Tampa had the 3.5 Ecoboost and new 10 speed transmission combo in the XLT trim level and Trailer tow option packages I wanted. They were only available out of my budget in upper trim levels. I have a Lake Place In Ocala Natl Forest and am there weekly so I tried Ford Lincoln of Ocala's web site. Within minutes on their site I found the PDF window sticker of exactly what I was looking for at a year end rebate savings price I couldn't believe. When I called them about availability of the truck I was connected to Larissa. This Gal is awesome! I had a lot of questions, She really sealed the deal in my opinion with her getting the info I needed with fast follow up responses and after I was happy with everything I put a $500 refundable deposit on a CC to hold the vehicle ( I didn't want this deal to slip through my fingers) and she set up our purchase appointment for 2 days later. This is the good part. I called the morning of our appointment to confirm and spoke to Pat Candelora the sales manager. He agreed to write down my bottom line out the door numbers I wanted for the transaction before we took the 115 mile trip. My offer on the vehicle, the 7% sales tax on that number, our down payment and the amount I wanted to finance including all dealer prep and tag fees with no trade in. He said he would have an answer in 5 minutes and he did, Yes. Now this is the way to operate a dealership, no sliding pieces of paper with numbers back and forth across the salesman's desk and trips back and forth to the sales manager to finally come up with a number. I gave them a fair offer and they accepted it with no dog and pony show. When we arrived my truck was impeccably prepared, freshly washed/waxed with a full tank of fuel and parked right smack dab at the front door. We met our great sales Rep Derek Faw with all the paper work pre prepared and in hand. We took a nice test drive and I was smitten. Back to the dealer and in 15 minutes we were locked in with contracts signed. After sealing the deal we had a 30 minute wait for processing then into financing with Lance Abshier doing a great job of explaining all our options. We liked one of the FMC 6 year comprehensive extended care plans and opted for it. It was a great buying experience in every way, and all done efficiently in only 2 and a half hours.
