First Time Subaru Owner and Could Be Fan for Life

Taylor and Bob were so friendly and professional. Taylor was just finishing up with a commercial and another customer, so Bob (the finance guy) helped me out. My husband test drove the Forester last week with Taylor, and I thought I would check it out too. Bob went out of his way to get the vehicle in the color and trim I wanted to test drive from the back. I was hooked with the smooth and quiet transmission. After the test drive, I was still waiting for Taylor, but Bob talked WITH (not at) me about the car, trade-in, and financing without trying to upsell me from the basic model. It was such a nice conversation with a FINANCE guy! I did some research on line and knew what I wanted for a trade-in amount and what a good price would be for the Forester. Much to my pleasant surprise, he made me an offer that nearly matched my numbers, without me negotiating and waiting several hours before an offer was accepted, like other dealerships that I have dealt with. I was not rushed or intimidated at all during the whole experience. Taylor finished working all the other details with me and walked me through the vehicles features. I have purchased over 10 cars at various dealerships, and I have always felt some regret that I overpaid, felt guilty that I doomed the car without an additional paint sealant or extended warranty, and wasted an entire day at the dealership...UNTIL NOW. Hughes Subaru (Taylor and Bob) made me feel like a valued guest. Should I be in the market for another vehicle, I would 100% go back to Hughes Subaru.
