I recently purchased a used automobile from Scott Clark Honda. My first contact with the dealership was online. I had read some negative reviews and was, honestly, leery of doing business with them. While initially, they pushed hard to get my phone number, when I made it clear I wished to communicate only via email at that point to get my initial questions about the car answered, the message got through. Not only did I receive an email, it was from the internet sales manager, Jeffrey Goodwin, who sent me a short video of himself in front of the car I was interested in to not only show me that it was indeed on the lot but to give me a peek of the inside, which answered my initial inquiry. My concerns about the dealership subsided. That evening, Jeffrey and I worked together via text (yep, he had provided me his cell number and told me I could call or text - he had picked up on the fact I likely wasn't going to want to talk) to work out the details and come to an out the door price. I didn't want to drive 1.5 hours and then not be able to come to terms. I purchased the car the next day and for the price agreed upon! There were apparently two other interested parties. One at the dealership wanting to test drive when I returned from mine and another scheduled for a test drive later in the day with another salesman. I am glad I made the drive early in the day. I had lost another car at another dealer earlier in the week, and it would have been heartbreaking to go through that again. Luckily, that did not happen. I feel I got a great price on a used vehicle. I had wonderful service from Jeffrey Goodwin and would and will recommend him highly to my friends, coworkers, acquaintances, the general public - i.e. YOU! I also don't want to leave out my dealings with the finance manager, Ronnie, who also was kind and easy to deal with. It was his job to try to sell me the extended warranty and such, but, he had been forewarned by Jeffrey that I would not be interested in such, so he did not push hard. He was also a pleasure to deal with. Provided my car doesn't fall apart (haha), I could not rate my experience any higher. Thank you, Jeffrey. Thank you, Ronnie. Keep up the excellent work!

I've been thinking about how to write this review without making it too long. There is just no way around it. It might be a little long.. I'm a retired senior citizen with a limited budget. My wife and I searched the internet for over two weeks researching the car we wanted in the Charlotte area. We found many but either the price was too high or the miles were. Then we thought we found it at Adams. They had a lot of good photos, we loved the color and it was a top of the line model. It had extras like leather interior, a moon roof, and a 12 speaker sound system with 360 watts of power! (I was a teen in the 70's and that thing can really put out some some great sound!) It also had low mileage and a great detailed carfax. I called to see if it was still there and it was. I told the person on the phone THAT was the car I was interested in and it had to fit my monthly budget. I told them what my monthly payment could not exceed and if I drove there to see it I needed to know it fit my budget. The next morning I got a call telling me they could hit my number and to come on down to see and test drive it. We went down, drove it, and loved it. Of course I just knew they were going to tell me my payment would be either what I told them or a few dollars more. Not only did Jason Dunham (Sales Manager) come in and tell me my payment would be $20.00 BELOW my budgeted number, but also he gave us a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty at no additional cost! Also, our final price included sales tax and licence fees. It was raining when we I got in to drive it home. When I got home I noticed a small "scuff" on the left corner of the rear bumper. My wife said "oh let it go! it's nothing..." After I reviewed the pictures and it wasn't there I called Adams and told them "I know I took possession and took it off the lot and take full responsibility for doing that, but can you do anything?" Well, Jason told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I brought it back and Jason said"of course I will fix that". So I took it back for the repair. Since we have such a unique color car and it is 3 years old they decided if they only pained that corner there may be a problem with a perfect match. Therefore, I had to leave it overnight as they decided to paint the entire bumper! No charge to me! It is a perfect match! I have bought many new and used cars over the years but NO ONE has ever treated me with such respect as Jason, and Henry. If you are looking for a great car for a great price you need to give Adams a try. You will not regret it!

I'm extremely thankful for the treatment I have received in the process of buying my car. Looked for cars for days and went to look at them to find myself disappointed. When I contacted this dealership inquiring about my Audi A5 talked to Nick who was extremely cordial, helpful, patient and more than willing to answer any of my questions. We discussed to meet today, 24/Jun/2017. When I saw that I was going to be late called Nick to explain. He and his staff waited an hour and a half after closing time to receive me so I could purchase my vehicle. Even though I was late they let me test drive and answered all of my questions. The cars condition was exceptional and just looking around at all the other cars in the dealership I can tell you, they all look in perfect condition. In the end I left extremely happy in my new car! Would recommend this dealership to everybody. Go here first or give a call to Nick, don't waist time in others!

Purchased a BMW 335i M-sport coupe from Select on 6/3/17. Nick and his staff were very helpful and friendly. The car had a couple of minor cosmetic issues that his staff were able to quickly resolve using parts they had onsite. I arrived on the lot with my trade and was on my way home in my 335i an hour and a half later. This was probably the easiest car purchase I've ever made.

Ricardo S. was amazing! I decided to drive 2.5 hrs to meet him after several phone conversations with him trying to help me find my second car. He spent the entire day with me once I arrived to Charlotte and even entertained my 5 year old (IMPOSSIBLE TO DO) while I was doing the financial portion of the sale! Amazing hands down! & I cannot believe I'm just now meeting him and finding this car lot. :( Aside from that, this was honestly the BEST experience I've ever had buying a car and the only thing I regret is not coming here sooner!

My Camry was showing a low tire pressure light so I pulled in on a Saturday morning to have it checked out. Pete Acree greeted me and I explained the I was just needing to have the pressure of my tires looked at since my light had come on the day before. He later came to explain that I recently inadvertently removed a nail from the streets of Charlotte that implanted itself into my tire. Since it was out of the area that could be patched he quickly explained my options and strategies depending upon how much I wanted to spend and the pros and cons of each option. After considering my options I choose to go with the replacement of all four of my tires and taking advantage of the special that they were offering. I was out in time to get to work. Pete Acree even made sure my new tires were aligned and my car was washed. Thanks.

This was my first experience with Scott Clark Toyota in Matthews, NC. I was looking for a Toyota SUV and I did my homework on looking at reviews of some of the Toyota dealerships in my area. One of the websites that I looked at the reviews about the salesman was DealerRater.com, this website shows the salesmen's rate at the dealerships. This website is what made our decision to go to Scott Clark Toyota in Matthews, NC. There were other dealership closer, but this is was the only one that got back to me so quickly and had the best reviews. And we live about an hour away from this dealership. I emailed one of the top salesmen (Paul Moore) on the dealer rate website and told him what I was looking for and he emailed me right back. We set up an appointment on Monday, December 26th, 2016 to look and test drive a 2017 Highlander and a 4 Runner. When we got to the dealership Paul was busy with another customer at the time, which was fine, you have to take care of your customers, so he set us up with one of his sales consultants Marcos Velasquez. He took us on the test drive and told us all the details about both vehicles. We understand Marcos was a mechanic at the dealership for a while and he became a salesman. My first thoughts are ???who better to explain and answers questions about the vehicle then a mechanic.??? He was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was not pushy, and he answer all my questions. While we were working with him, Paul had a chance to come by and talked to us and to make sure Marcos was taking care of us. We told Paul that he was great. Then we had a chance to meet with Travis Wilson, because the vehicle (2017 Highlander Limited) we wanted they did not have one yet. So, Travis and Marcos worked together to find the vehicle we wanted and they had to order one, which was fine with us. We wanted Blizzard Pearl and we were trying to decide on the interior ??? it was between the Almond vs. the new Saddle. They found one with the new Saddle interior and called us on Thursday, December 29th to come and to take look at it to see if we like it, if not they would order us something else. We ended up purchasing the 2017 Highlander Limited on that Friday, December 30th ??? Blizzard Pearl with the Saddle interior. It is beautiful and the vehicle has everything we wanted on it. They found exactly what we wanted and they were even willing to order another one if we didn???t like it. All three of them Marcos, Travis and Paul went above and beyond to get what we wanted. Then the Finance Manager Jose Batista was great and answers all of our questions about the finance paperwork. Unbelievable???.they all gave us complete peace of mind. Everyone at the dealership was very professorial and very helpful. I would recommend this dealership and these salesmen to help you to find your next car, suv or truck. In my book this is an Excellent & Top Notch Dealership! Go see this Excellent Team Marcos Velasquez, Travis Wilson and Paul Moore. Tell them that Johnny and Malissa Ray sent you!!! They are AWSOME!!!

saw online vehicle that I wanted to consider purchase...drove to Charlotte after contact with Clark Honda...got to Clark Honda to look at vehicle and discovered that it had just been relocated to Clark Toyota...had to turn around and go to Clark Toyota in heavy traffic...once at Clark Toyota the vehicle was located...I drove it and made a deal to purchase...after purchase I learned that the vehicle with less than 150 miles only had one set of keys and it would be approximately 150.00 to get spare set...was not happy with that discovery after I had purchased the truck...salesman did offer to try and work something out...we will see if this gets satisfactorily resolved. I just received a call from my salesman Paul Moore of Clark Toyota and he told me that Clark Honda had found extra set of keys for my truck and would ship them today! Paul Moore and Clark Toyota/Honda came through as they promised! Thanks, great customer service! I purchased (cash sale) this vehicle on December 1, 2017 and received the usual customary temporary paper tag...expiration date December 31, 2017...as of today's date I have not received permanent tag or title...I called DMV today and was told the VIN number of my truck was not registered and was told to call dealership... I called dealership today and they are working on an answer and I hope it proves to be an easy resolve...I am very concerned that my paid for vehicle has not been registered with DMV after almost 30 days and that my tag is expiring over the weekend and thus I either have to park it or risk a citation...I paid a documentation fee to the dealership in the amount of I believe 599.00 to handle administration of vehicle registration...not sure what is going on but it is certainly irresponsible for Scott Toyota to put a customer in this situation particularly when the dealership charges a fee to perform this service...

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

This is a review of my SELLING experience to Carvana. I listed my car on Craigslist and was approached by an outsider buyer named Jan. She introduced me to Carvana, which I never heard of before, and it's process. She was very helpful and walked me through the process. The first deciding factor for selling to them was that they offered me the best price (vs. CarMax, Auto Nation, Trur Car). Then I realized the process was super streamlined. All I had to do was upload my documents and, after approval, schedule an appointment for the pickup of my car. Carvana sent a truck to COME TO ME to pick up the car. The driver (Lauren?) was very courteous and pleasant to work with, too. The pickup process, which included a one-mile test drive, took no longer than 20-30 minutes. Immediately after loading my car to their truck, I was handed the check, which I immediately deposited without any issues. My selling experience from being contacted by buyer to getting the check took just 10 days! (Would've been even faster if I was more timely with uploading my docs.) I'd highly recommend Carvana for selling your cars!

Buying through Carvana was one of the best transactional experiences ever! I shopped for several months, test drove several cars to understand the models and features I was looking for. Then, boom, the car that matched come up in my search and I pulled the trigger. Within minutes, I had a value on my trade-in, purchased the car, (to include a very well priced extended warranty), and arranged for financing it through the Carvana website. And, while that was a very easy, non pressure experience, what made it really special was the delivery. Rachel, the Caravan rep, called me the day before the delivery to confirm, then called while in route to be sure not to leave me hanging. She was right on time, professional, and extremely upbeat. I had a genuine feeling that her priority was not only to deliver the car and pick up my trade in, but it was to make the final part of my experience a pleasure as well. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable of the process and did an excellent job of assuring I was informed of the "7 day, no questions asked, test drive" as well as the final paperwork to be processed. A few signatures and the trade-in was her's and the keys to 2014 BMW 535 were in my hands.

My wife and I came to Victory Chevrolet to buy a used car. Joe Harrison, the salesman, spent hours with us going from lot to lot looking at various used cars. When we finally agreed on one, we couldn't come to terms on it. I mentioned that we were close to an offer we had at another dealership on a new car. Bryce Gandy, Vice President, then put together a deal using various incentives beating the other dealer's offer, an offer we couldn't refuse. At times I wondered during the roughly eight hours we were there, how many times do they go to this much trouble for nothing? Joe and Bryce were great, and made us very comfortable during the whole process of making the deal. Then I thought, how long will it take in the finance office. Randy Lee made the purchasing process quick and efficient, more so than any new car purchase I've ever made. Joe, Bryce, and Randy made this the best and least stressful new car buying experience (7 total) we've ever had. Thanks to Victory Chevrolet for being a first class business!

5-Stars and then some!!! The folks at North Charlotte Toyota are 1st Class for sure. I was on a mission for the best deal on a new 4Runner and visited a couple of dealerships. But after being greeted by Cameron the Product Specialist, I knew this was the best spot. He showed me a few vehicles and there was zero pressure. Just product knowledge! Great Job Cameron! Then I was introduced to the Sales Specialist, Jay Myers and he helped me structure a deal on the vehicle I wanted within realistic terms. I wanted the vehicle but wanted to take a night to discuss with my fiancee and to my surprise. Zero pressure! (Unlike others) Next day, I got a follow-up call from the General Sales Manager, Nate Richards. We hit it off because of course he wanted to earn my business but was professional and once again no pressure. We negotiated a few minor items and I felt like it was a Win-Win for all. I returned to the dealership and Chris Wickson greeted me and showed me the service department. And then finalized my paperwork with Corinna Arment. She even did a final walk around on my new 4Runner. Installed my upgraded all-weather mats and paired my phone. WOW, just wow!!!! These folks are the real deal. Save yourself some time and just start with them first. They Get It!!! Car buying the way it should be. Great Job North Charlotte Toyota. I will be back and 100% will recommend you all to anyone looking for a new Toyota!!!

I went to this dealership to lease my very first car - a 2016 Corolla - this past week. My mother & sister cosigned on a Rav4 earlier this summer, so I was already familiar with the process. Like other reviewers said, the employees work as a team and do a very good job of making sure that you get what you want and that you understand everything. They are extremely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. During this visit I knew I wanted to work with Matt Arenas (and would have left if he wasn't there), because he worked with my family members and is now like a family member to us...always there with a smile and a hug. Since he got promoted recently, I had my test drive with Tierra, who was very helpful and kind. As I said, this is my first car and I was very nervous about the test drive, but we talked and had a good laugh about it and before I knew it, it was over. I really appreciated that she wasn't pushy about what car I was interested in, but explained the differences between the 2016 and 2017 models and listened to what I wanted (the same way Matt was when I met him back in June). After going over the numbers with Matt (who took the time to explain the benefits of leasing and worked out an affordable deal), I met Janelle Harris. She was extremely thorough and patient with me & my insurance agent (I had to sign up for the first time and had questions for him and he was a little slow with the paperwork). Once everything was settled, she was very kind to walk me out to the car and help me set up my bluetooth and made sure I didn't have any other questions before I left. Everyone at this dealership is so easy to talk to and you feel like you're hanging out with friends and family instead of doing business, but at the same time they have an air of professionalism about them. I always thought that getting a car would be stressful and I'd have to watch out for any tricks or schemes, but they are very transparent about everything. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know that's looking for a new car.

Picture it: Sicily, 1918. Who begins a review with a Golden Girls reference? Me. That???s who. It???s an age reference so that the reader knows I???m a (mostly) adult person who is old enough to remember those kooky gals on the t.v that wasn???t flat. Or, I could be a 25 year old man-child living in my parents??? basement binge-watching ???80s re-runs while lounging on a 1970s couch carelessly eating stale Cheetos and wondering what shall become of my life. But The Facts of Life are on next so life goals don???t particularly matter right now. It???s the internet so you don???t know. You???re just going to have to trust me that I???m not the guy on the couch and I???m pretty o.k. at this adulting thing. But you know what matters right now, my dear readers? Being able to purchase a car from a good dealership. Well, that doesn???t really apply to the aforementioned guy on the couch because he needs to learn that you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have, the facts of life. Speaking of good, Gastonia Dodge is good. Like Friday night pizza and a pint of ice cream while watching Dateline in your jammies good. That means it was really good. From the moment I spoke to Sam I felt like I was more than just a potential sale; more than just dollar signs. I had a budget and needed a reliable used car to sell all my meth. What? Just checking to see if you???re still reading this. I needed a reliable used car to transport me to and fro my responsible and legal job. And to take my miniature primate (child) to school, the park, and various other places children frequent. Sam was personable and genuine. I had visited another dealership the day before and I walked away ashamed and embarrassed of myself and my budget and my fly wasn???t even down nor did I have toilet paper dangling precariously from my foot. I wasn???t treated like a person, I was nothing. But not here. Sam treated me with respect and there was an air of friendliness throughout the entire dealership; it hung in the air like a crisp Lysol scent from a freshly cleaned bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms, you shan???t be treated like fecal matter at this dealership. Sam took the time to listen. Everything about him was genuine from the second he answered the phone until I drove away in my beautiful Jeep. He knew I am a struggling single mother with a budget and he cared. His humor is a wonderful gift and he helped me feel quite at home in the dealership. I imagine if I had friends it would be very much like my time at the dealership. The atmosphere itself is soothing from the warmth of the carpet to the spike of Sam???s hair. All employees there were genuinely friendly. I am repeatedly using the term ???genuine??? because none of the employees were fake like my breasts. What? There you are, you???re still with me. Brad, the finance paperwork man (that???s a technical term) was wonderful as well. The beautiful thing about Brad is that he doesn???t cowpoop. He tells you exactly what the numbers mean and why they are there. Underneath his dealership-issued polo beats a heart of non-cowpoop gold. And so I say to you, my dear readers who are not watching The Facts of Life right now, if you are in the market for a vehicle please consider going to Gastonia Dodge. Sam and Brad were the absolute best and I am so happy. I never thought I could ever own a car that wasn???t around before the invention of the McRib. And now I do. Thank you so much, Sam and Brad.
