Used 2003 Toyota Matrix for sale near Phoenix, AZ

Bought this car in 2003 and it is still going strong in 2025 after more than 180000 miles. Lots of interior space. Outstanding reliability, never let me down in 20+ years. Needed some replacements of consumable parts: shocks, exhaust, radiator. Above all, it is still a pleasure to drive!

Good room and handling. Ride is stiff. Gas mileage good. Noisy engine. Reliable as most Toyotas. Has the flip up rear hatch window that has all but disappeared.

Efficient use of interior space. Better than a small SUV. Love the rears seats that fold completely flat, the rear hatch window that can open, the front seat that can fold down. Plenty of space for extra tool storage in the tire compartment. No repairs needed except for brakes, tires and a battery. Runs and looks like new after 179,000 miles and 13 years

After owning a Camry and Rav4, the 2003 Toyota Matrix XR is the best in performances, low maintenance, Reliability, comfort while traveling long distance, etc

I absolute love my car! Fantastic experience from the beginning to the end. I was looking for a 2005 Mustang, it had to be that year and a convertible. We had been looking all over the US. We are in California, Goliath is in Arizona yet they sent the pictures, video, inspection information, and handled the financing. The whole process was so smooth. We flew into Arizona. Chris from Goliath picked us up at our Airport Hotel, Saturday. He brought my new car to pick us up. We went to Goliath met Paul the owner finished up the paperwork and we were off! We drove ate, shopped, and then drove from Tucson Arizona home to California. It was 15 hours straight!! The Mustang was perfect! What a ride! Goliath is serious about inspecting the car and fixing everything that should be fixed prior to selling the car. They gave me a copy of the inspection and the repairs. If I ever buy another used car I would only go to Goliath. They are trustworthy and professional. The Mustang is a dream, the financing was quick and easy, and they ensured we knew everything about the car before we bought it. Really, don’t go anywhere else. You can trust Goliath, they are an honest automobile dealership with fantastic cars!

The Matrix has it all. Utility. Comfort. Good gas mileage. Fun to drive. Safety features. If it hadn't needed a new transmission (after 17 years and over 190,000 miles) I would still be driving it. In my opinion, this is the best CUV hatchback ever made. I wish Toyota still made them.

This dealership is the greatest in the metro Detroit MI and around the Toledo OH areas. I emailed thirty dealerships to negotiate on a 2025 Hybrid Toyota Camry. This dealership was the only one that would negotiate with me. It was also the nicest dealership. I negotiated with them on 1/27/25. That is a time period when dealerships should negotiate. Dealerships make bonuses based on monthly quotas, incentives, etc. Sales people are normally only commission pay in the car sales business. If they don't rnake there quota they need to pay back the dealership for a pro ration of there quota shortage. Please learn about commission only payment for employees. I emailed thirty dealerships to negotiate pricing on the camry. This dealership answered my many questions. They didn't push me to come into there dealership. They respected my request to communicate via only by email (until I was ready to make a phone call to the dealership). They still do not phone me after I phoned them and honored my communicate by just email. I didn't agree with a charge dealerships gives to customers. This dealership was the only one negotiable on that charge. When I received my new vehicle the tank was filled up with gas. It was also very clean. They also threw in some options with my negotiated price. Don't waste much time calling other dealerships. This dealership is the only one that will give you respect. This dealership is the only one that will be negotiable. The other dealerships did not even want to give me $1.00 off the price. Also, the dealership will give you the out the door price. The dealership will not do the usual games of pushing you for "what do you want for a monthly payment". Also, I wasn't lied to by this dealership. I caught at least one lie from one person at every other dealership. Normally, if i were talking to more than one person it would be at least one lie per person per dealership. I also shopped at dealerships for a used vehicle this past summer. i followed the same procedures. all of the same things happened to me this past summer. it is very sad and sick. sadly, in the summer time page toyota didn't have my sought after vehicle. after my experience in the summertime i was exhausted from the horrible experiences. i have to shop so that is why i'm back shopping for a vehicle. Just moved down to Garden City, and been shopping around for vehicles. Noticed this place as the only used car store in Garden City. Took my 2 sons here, we drove around few cars. Gentlemen here were phenomenal and we also were able to get registration and plates on the same day.
