We were 5 hours from home on vacation and our Ford Escape

We were 5 hours from home on vacation and our Ford Escape started behaving badly - we contacted the local ford dealer First thing Monday morning and they wouldn’t see us for a week and a half - another mechanic could get us in Wednesday but we were to leave for back home Wednesday, we had the car scanned and my husband and I replaced the coil and the spark plug - I was in a pinch and started calling friends who have lived up there - one came thru and got me connect immediately on Monday evening to a sales manager who contacted his service manager and they got me numbers for towing and the car and us were picked up at 8am - immediately they started diagnosing the problem and each time they came back it was cha Ching and so we decided to dump the car and put that repair bill towards another vehicle. We were treated fantastic and I highly recommend them. We decided to stay an extra day so that we could get some vacation and finish the stresscation ! Way to go Scott at Rhinelander! We made it safely home !

Started off great on 7/12/25 and parts were ordered.

Started off great on 7/12/25 and parts were ordered. Assistant service manager Bryan Kelly said parts would take approximately 1 week and he would call when they came in to schedule the work. After 2 weeks no call so on 7/26/25 we called and left a message on his vm asking for an update. After no call back we called back on 7/28/25 and left Mr. Kelly another message asking for an update and again he ignored our simple request. Finally on 7/30/25 I called the front office and asked to talk with someone else and they put me through to Mr. Kelly! I asked him to transfer me to someone else so he transferred me to another person. Sure enough, parts were sitting there and work was finally scheduled. I don’t understand why some people ignore their customers. Just return your customer’s phone call! Simple! Hopefully I will get another survey after the work is completed and I will be giving them five stars.
