I have 2 separate reviews. One for Sales and one for Finance. SALES: This was my dream car and ToyBarn had the best price and lowest miles so it was the perfect car. I worked with Greg who was absolutely very kind but consistently "left me hanging." Several times I was told he would call back in a few minutes but would not call at all, several times he would look into pricing tinting windows before car as delivered, never did. I continually had to chase down to keep the purchase progress moving forward. There also were several times i was told the car was being detailed however the car was very dirty on arrival with grass, dog hair, and accumulated dust that was clear it had been there quite some time. That being said for this being my dream car this should have been a more pleasant process however it was constant stress and anxiety of always wondering what was going on. The very worst part of it all is Greg quoted me $750 for delivery however I was charged $800 and Greg never told me that they do not collect sales tax for out of state, so to my surprise when I tried to register my car I had to come up with another $2,000 that I hadn't budgeted for. After everything during this purchase process needless to say at that point it brought me to tears at the DMV. This was an unnecessary painful process. I will say again Greg was very nice, however because of his lack of follow-through, constant chasing on my part and lack of communication there have been several times I have considered canceling the deal, but this car was the VERY best priced and great deal for the value. I hope that no one else has this same experience I had while buying their dream car.

Toy Barn had a Mustang for sale on website turned out it

Toy Barn had a Mustang for sale on website turned out it was in there shop for service. Then I was told it wasn't running. Sale manager called and said, it needed a battery. I kept in contact 2 days later get a text it was sold. Poor way to run a bussiness.

I’ve known of the Toy Barn for several years before

I’ve known of the Toy Barn for several years before coming out here. I used to see their listings on eBay motors as well as Autotrader all the time, wondering what this place would be like to actually visit. I finally reached out to them about a Jaguar F-Type and scheduled an appointment to see it. Arriving here, my first impression was a bit intimidating. Walking past an almost quarter million dollar McLaren, parked next to an even more expensive Ferrari. At that time, I’d never imagined owning something like that, or if it’d even be possible. I feel very fortunate to have been given my sales rep, Blake Carver. He treated me very well. I felt comfortable talking about whatever it was that was on my mind with him, and he’s a very down to earth guy himself. This was the beginning of my relationship with the Toy Barn, and it was a very positive and enjoyable experience. Since that day with the Jaguar, I’ve been back several times, a couple times just to window shop. Blake has always been gracious with his time. I did eventually buy a McLaren from him. It’s not everyday you inquire about something like that, but he took me seriously and never once made me feel like maybe I was out of my mind for asking the question. He will bend over backwards to do what he can for his clients. This guy will reply to my texts on his days off. He went on a Caribbean cruise and was still replying to my texts. He once drove a car out to my house over an hour away. I’ve talked with him about cars at other dealers or private party listings and he’s asked if I wanted him to try to get it for me. I’ve never once encountered a sales rep like this before. If he leaves the Toy Barn, I believe it will be a great loss for them. He’s a true asset to their brand, and I don’t think they’re fully aware of it. He actually probably needs a raise, just for the amount of time he’s spent on me. As for the dealership itself, it’s very clean and the showrooms are loaded full of exotics and/or muscle cars. There are actually multiple showrooms spread out across the property, and some of them are in buildings that aren’t always manned and can be locked at times. I’ve read that others have complained about this, but in today’s world you can’t leave a hellcat in an unsecured building unless you’re asking for it to disappear. You also can’t not have a hellcat at a dealership like this, because they’re trying to appeal to everyone. My recommendation, is to make an appointment and to ask for Blake, tell him what you’re interested in, and just have a blast.

This dealership was spot-on and AWESOME.

This dealership was spot-on and AWESOME. Especially Brittany who was very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process of my car purchase. She kept me informed of the status of my car and inquired about financial options. My car was actually delivered a day early and I am very pleased with this purchase. BZ to Toy Barn and you ball keep up the good work.

When I told my wife I was purchasing a car from the Toy

When I told my wife I was purchasing a car from the Toy Barn in Ohio. Being very circumspect, she was very reluctant to consider such a purchase, since we live in Maryland. I also had a bit of apprehension. My experience with this organization has been great from discussing the purchase to the actual delivery. Brittany and the staff at Toy Barn was extremely helpful with the purchase process. The car was just as shown in the ad and when we received it, it was immaculately maintained. A 10 year old car looked as if it was new both inside and out. I wish more dealerships treated their customers with the same care as the Toy Barn. I loved the experience and the car.

Firstly, Toy Barn has exactly the car I wanted, and it was priced fairly. The process was straightforward, and Brittany (sales) and Joel (service) did exactly, everything they promised. End to end, an enjoyable successful deal.

Do not buy from this dealership / especially out of state. They will intentionally not tell you about defects & issues. DISHONEST. Chris Scott is a rude thug.
