Unhappy

A lot of dealerships let you drive the car for a few days and if you don't like it you can bring it back. Bob Ruth Ford does not have this policy.

Bob Ruth Ford Service Dept rocks!

The sport Trak I own has a difficult part to find, but the service/parts depts hung in there and finally found it.

Crowning Cruze Experience

When my wife and I went to Bob Ruth, Dillsburg, Pa., the day before Easter, 2017 (thanks to finding the kind of car we were looking for online -- late model, low mileage, a lot of factory warranty -- and not having to travel a great distance to buy it) we only wanted to see what they had. We not only found what they called a "value car", but for a GOOD car barely a year old, just under 10,000 miles on it, a GREAT economy car (for a mid-size car) with a 4 cylinder engine. We got a GOOD trade-in allowance on our 2011 Chevy Aveo, and with a sizeable cash down payment, we could get GOOD financing at our credit union. Now, more than a year later, we have absolutely no complaints with a LOT of travel around Cumberland, Dauphin, York and Lancaster Counties. This is an excellent "proving ground" for ANY car. And when we take it back to Bob Ruth for their LOW cost COMPREHENSIVE (checking many things all around the car) servicing, they EXPERTLY help us keep the car in TOP running condition! I am a retired truck and bus driver. And if anyone deserves a 5 star rating in all areas, Bob Ruth does!!!

Oil Change and Basics

Wait time was minimal. Comfortable wait room with coffee facilities was appreciated. Car was serviced and update information explained. My only complaint is that I wish greater concern was given to the cleanliness of the car returned. Oily/Greasy handprints on hood and on window chrome and door side is upsetting especially when great care is taken to maintain cars appearance and cleanliness. This has happened before. Please be more mindful of greasy and oily hand prints and dirt left behind.

Vehicle Service

Car was dropped off for a recall and inspection, car was picked up and a problem not previously experienced with the ignition and/or starter was experienced. I have called the dealership and they are going to look at the car on June 28, 2018 to acess the problem. Even though the problem did not esixt previously it could be coincidental and not related to the work performed. So how this is handled will influence my experience, so far so good.

Buying Experience

I bought a Ford Escape about three weeks ago. The price was fair, however, I feel the trade in value was low. I notified the dealer online and nobody got back to me. This was after talking to the salesman about it. I also had a question about the registration and spoke to a sales manager named Kieth. He never got back to me. The registration came so I dropped it. They do offer two free oil changes and lifetime inspections. If it wasn't for the two issues, I would have been completely satisfied but now I am just ok with it. A great dealership would have better customer service. I just hope their service department is more customer oriented if I ever need service.

Buying Experience
