Best dealership in the Lee-Collier area. In Sept. of 2010 we saw an ad for a 2007 MDX at Scanlon Acura. We were actually on our way to purchase a BMW X5 which we had seen over the weekend at another dealership. The salesman Bob Pesic showed us the MDX and it was exactly what I was looking for. I had owned Acura's in the 80's and 90's and loved them and decided to purchase the MDX that day. My partner was in a lease that we were wanting to get out of because the dealership treated us so badly and also the car was experiencing too many repairs. We decided to go see Bob Pesic and to our surprise we traded in the lease car and drove away in a brand new TSX. Today after having the TSX for almost 3 years we are now in a SE TL thanks to Bob Pesic and Joe Ferrigno for working out such a great deal for us. Bob Pesic never pressured us once into purchasing or leasing a new car from him and that is why we always come back to him. The service dept. over the years has gone above and beyond what I have ever expected. This is why we come back to Scanlon Acura....they treat you like family.

The Employees were very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, understanding of our needs, came up with creative ideas and ways we could purchase the car. The sales person, Jose M and Manager, John Santillo took a lot of time visiting with us about the car, we were interested in and made us feel welcome and comfortable with Scanlon Acura Dealership. The other employees, we worked with were very friendly and helpful. When we came to pick up the car, they had taken care of everything we had talked about. They took time, again, to go over all the great features of the car before we drove away. The Acura MDX is Beautiful! We appreciated John Santillo taking time out of his busy schedule to visit with us and all his help!

Friendly staff
I did A LOT of online shopping before finally deciding on going to Scanlon Acura for my used car. I wasn't even looking at other dealerships until I found Cars.com and they showed me what else was out there. I contacted the dealership and heard back from them fast. A few days later I went to the dealership and got my car! Everyone was great at Scanlon Acura. They take care of their customers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car, new or used. They have a great selection of used cars and the staff is friendly. A special thank you to Dan and Susan for taking great care of me!

I have purchased many cars over the last 35 years and...
I have purchased many cars over the last 35 years and this was by far my best experience. I did an internet search for local dealers that had the car I wanted in stock and by the next morning John Gallman had emailed me and called me to follow up. John was friendly and knowledgable. We went to the dealership that weekend and purchased our 2014 Acura MDX. John was busy with another customer so Phil Ursillo jumped right in and helped us, with the Sales Manager Joe Ferrigno. You have an amazing team at Scanlon Acura, this is my 3rd Acura and when I am ready for my 4th I will be at Scanlon Acura. Thank you so much for such a pleasant, easy experience.

I was in the market to buy a one to two year old Acura...
I was in the market to buy a one to two year old Acura TSX. When I came across some of the cars online at Scanlon, they appeared to be having some good deals (one in particular a 2012 Acura TSX with about 10K miles) so when I was ready, I made the venture from Naples, Florida. John Gallman sat patiently as I test drove some vehicles and awaited my car to be valued for trade in. The trade in value they gave me for my car was way below expected and when I asked to speak with the sales manager for negotiations, the sales manager, John Santillo, was quick on the draw to tell me there were no negotiating and my car was simply at best worth what they were going to give me. After going back and forth, John Santillo's last response was "Well you shouldn't be buying an Acura" insinuating that I couldn't afford one. LET ME TELL YOU. Not only did I take it to several OTHER dealerships where they ALL offered me higher prices than what Scanlon was going to give me, I got an even better deal on a 2013 Acura TSX (no dings, scratches, leather wearing and only 5K miles) for THOUSANDS less than the one they were trying to sell me at Scanlon. Because of the Sales Managers attitude towards me, I wouldn't even trust them to get me the best interest rate possible! I will never shop at Scanlon Acura nor will I tell ANYONE to go there.

When we have a client with serious concerns like this, we will take a hard look into what happened. John Santillo has been with the company for over 25 years now, and this is the first time a complaint like this has been made. Our General Manager personally reached out to this client in an effort to understand what happened, and apologize for the experience. We take great pride in exceptional customer service, and this incident was taken seriously. Upon further investigation, we felt that when John mentioned switching to a less expensive vehicle (the budget discussed was hundreds less per month than the car selected with stated cash down) it was construed that she could not afford the vehicle. John feels that he was simply trying to be a consultant, and only wished to meet her budget needs first discussed during the initial purchase consultation. In no way would we ever judge who can afford an Acura, or any other product we sell. We understand perception is reality, and we are sad that this effort to assist was taken terribly wrong. As stated, this client drove past several other dealers to come see our vehicle because we do offer great deals. When a trade vehicle has; an accident, a Carfax damage report saying the vehicle was towed away from the scene, and has major damage still on the vehicle, you will get varying offers of values from wholesalers. At the appraisal, it was mentioned (by this client) we were close to what Carmax had appraised the vehicle for. So, we feel that we were appropriate with an actual cash value instead of an "allowance" for the vehicle. Lastly, this client sent us the purchase order from the other dealership that sold her a vehicle. While this other store did show a higher value on the trade, the car was actually MORE than our car, not thousands less as stated, making us look bad. We feel horrible that so many bad feelings were created during the visit here at our store. But, we did want to have the other side of this experience explained, and our efforts to ensure customer satisfaction made apparent.
