2017 Legacy Buy and Maintain

Best Buying Experience Ever!

After months of research, I decided to purchase a Subaru Crosstrek a couple of weeks ago. Having dealt with overbearing, pushy salespersons in past car purchases, I did not look forward to going to any dealership. When I arrived at Darrell Waltrip Subaru for my test drive, however, I was very surprised. The experience was actually pleasant: my salesman, Mark Smallwood, sat down with me first and not only asked what I was looking for in a vehicle, he actually listened to me! I was impressed with his approach and his demeanor. He was very attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure the vehicle met my needs...no pushing extra accessories on me, no telling me he knew "exactly what car" I needed to be in, and no frantic, pushy sales tactics. The test drive went so well that I returned to Darrell Waltrip 6 days later and purchased a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience I've ever had! Everyone from Mark, to the sales manager, to the finance manager were so respectful and considerate. In a world full of false advertising, I didn't believe there was actually a no pressure dealership. Darrell Waltrip Subaru proved me wrong! I will definitely be returning when it's time for another car.

Subaru owner

I brought my 2012 Impreza Ltd 5DR in for Vehicle Dynamics Control engine light on and some maintenance. I was treated like family. I was informed of need for rear brakes. They updated software changed the cabin filter, performed tire rotation, oil change and wipers. My Subaru is running like a charm. They even washed my car:) I'm more than happy with the service at DW Subaru in Franklin TN. Thanks guys!

Bryan Bock went above and beyond, excellence!

I needed an oil change and tire rotation so I scheduled an appointment. In addition to the service I wanted them to check the slight hesitation I was noticing. When I got there it was explained that I have the type of transmission that may feel like a hesitation instead of a shift feeling, but he said he would look into it. When I picked up my car, Bryan Bock told me he found a Subaru bulletin that mentioned how to minimize the hesitation feel. And when I got in and drove my car I could definitely tell the difference. I don't think I've experienced such a determination to please at a dealership before. Combine that with genuinely positive friendliness from Bryan and the fellow that gave me a ride back to work, I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Shopped 4 Subaru dealerships. The difference was & is Steve Duncan. Have already told numerous friends about your dealership & the total experience. My wife loves her Forester & that makes me happy!

Awesome car, awesome dealership!

I was not actively looking to trade my 2007 Honda Accord, I was simply "just looking" at options. My husband and I went to Waltrip to check out the inventory and say hello to my loyal salesperson, Greg Schmidt. He had already left for the day and we were approached by Alex Leon - who was equally awesome! He asked the right questions and was never pushy or aggressive. We were honest about being premature with a trade - after all, my Accord was in great shape and I didn't want a car payment. Alex showed us a '14 Accord that was absolutely gorgeous, had most of the features of a '17 and was priced well - so we took it for a spin. It had just been traded in the day before - we assumed it was a lease because of the low mileage and pristine condition. We walked away that night only to return the next day to purchase the '14 Accord - it was too good of a deal to pass up! Alex really looked out for our best interest as did the finance manager Greg Shuman. They both worked diligently to make sure that we received the best deal, the best financing available and top dollar for our trade. Darrell Waltrip Honda continues to be our Honda dealer of choice! And we will continue to highly recommend Darrell Waltrip Honda to our friends and family!

What a wonderful dealership!

Randy, the sales associate, went above and beyond in the purchase of my Honda Odyssey. He wasn't pushy at all, worked with me on pricing, and treated me with respect. They gave me more for my trade in than the other car lots that I looked at, they have an amazing Warranty program, and they were super friendly. They also offer a car care program that covers the interior, carpets, paint job, and etc that is totally worth the money!

I brought my Volvo XC60 in for a routine service and tire rotation. I live in Clarksville, TN, and the Darrell Waltrip staff always provide me with a great service experience. Super service

Started taking my Subaru to Darrell Waltrip a year ago. The dealership is an hour from the house. Thirty minutes farther than the closest Subaru dealership to my house. The drive is worth it. During each service visit, they make me feel like they are taking care of me, not just doing their job. The car is always cleaner after I leave, then when I arrive.

Great car service

I brought in my 2017 Subaru Forester for it's first service, which included an oil change and tire rotation. I was in and out within one hour and the service technician and staff couldn't have been more professional and friendly. This dealership really goes out of it's way to make you feel like family.
