I bought a car from Roger Beasley Georgetown back in March, and at that time I wrote them wonderful reviews on several different sites. I seriously regret doing them that favor. Ever since I purchased the vehicle it has been a nightmare. I still do not have my license plates and registration. It has been THREE MONTHS. My boyfriend (cosigner) and I have called up there no less than 15 times. He has also gone in person. We were told that the county was behind and that was the reason for the hold up (Doesn’t make sense because I have known two other people to buy cars in Wilco since I have gotten mine and both of their plates were in within three weeks). Every time we are promised that they will call the county and then return our phone call. We never get calls back. I can’t even explain how frustrating this process has been for us. It is truly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Today I called the county to see why it was taking so long. They informed me that Roger Beasley never submitted a request to them to get the title changed or plates issued. This entire time the dealership has been blatantly lying. I seriously wish I had the option to return my car and take my money elsewhere. They have turned my first car buying experience in to a disaster. I initially hoped to continue to do business there in the future and even recommended them to several friends. Big mistake on my part. Today I spoke with a manager and he hardly gave me the time of day. There was no apology or remorse (he is one of the people who said they would get back with me and never did weeks ago). He says the plates will be in tomorrow at 2:00. If it is really that simple it should have been done months ago. The only part of my good review that I wouldn’t take back is complementing our salesman, James. If you go back and look, there are several other people who had the same problem in the google reviews. I understand that ONCE SUBMITTED, a dealership can’t control the speed the county works at. However, to not even submit for the request for three months in unacceptable. Lying about the county being the problem is even worse. Clearly something else was going on or RBM would have submitted for plates one of the other 14 times we called instead of blowing us off. Overall it has been an awful experience and if I knew then what I know now, I would have never purchased my car from Roger Beasley Mazda Georgetown. Definitely will not find any customer appreciation here.

Hi Emily, We truly are sorry for the delay in getting you your plates. I know you have spoken to Rusty, our General Sales Manager, and he has apologized and tried to make it right. There were several factors that caused the delays, some due to us, some due to the county. Regardless, your frustration is warranted. We should have done a much better job communicating with you, and please know that is being addressed with the staff.
