Used car purchase
First off I purchased a 2012 Ford Focus. I really like the car. They gave me a fair trade in during the deal but when they started processing the finance paperwork it was $4000+ over what it should have been and had I not had a problem with how high the payments would have been, it would have went through that way. Even the finance companies had a problem with the amount they tried to finance so they adjusted it to what it should have been. Then there was a problem with the rocker panel on the driver side door they were to set an appointment to re-paint it. I waited for almost a month then I contacted them well long story short there was an issue with the way it was handling and running so the appointment was set to take care of it all at one time it was only supposed to take a couple of days well it sat in the service department for 2 1/2 days and all they did was make a couple of adjustments because in their famous last words could not duplicate the problem. The body shop kept putting me off one told me it would be painted on Monday another told me it would not be painted until Wednesday , then I was told it had been painted on Monday but something happened to the paint they had to re-sand and paint. I finally received the car back on Wednesday after they had the car for over a week they shined it all up the paint job is nice but the car is still not running the way it should when I called them they put me off wanting me to go on a test drive with them to verify the problem I don't want to leave my car there for days again but I was told there are no service technicians on site after 4:30 pm but they advertise service department is available until 7 pm on their letters. This was one of several cars I have purchased from them and until now I have never had a problem with them other than when there is warranty work on a vehicle they can not duplicate the problem I wonder why that is? I will not purchase another vehicle from them, they come with all of their claims of not inconveniencing the customer and IF IT'S NOT RIGHT THEY WILL MAKE RIGHT. So far that I am not convinced they really don't go out of their way to make anything right!

Best car dealer in the area!
This is our third Ford Focus. Great car on the highway and gives great gas mileage. Very roomy and lots of trunk space. Love the exterior and interior of the four door Focus. Very dependable and seldom needs anything but gas and preventative maintenance, i.e. oil changes, etc. Great AMERICAN-made vehicle!!!!!

Very disappointed
I love buying cars and do so every two years. I am sorry for a negative review, but I felt it necessary due to the poor customer service I received and the run around of trying to get a key made, the hatch piece, and owners guide which was all promised to me when I bought the car in March of 2014. This has been going on since then, and I still have not received the three items. I even drove over to the St. Peters location because the key guy from the South County dealership was going to meet me there. However, after the friendly guys at St Peters call Tom Hanneken asking about the key guy, and they were told he was running 45 minutes late. I as there on time, but no key guy and no phone call to let me know he was going to be late. The customer service on the part of the South County dealership, salesperson and key person is outrageously terrible. Don't promise and write it things down when I bought the car when you can't deliver. I even called to weeks ago to speak with the South County manager, but never received a phone call back. My parents always bought their cars from Dave Sinclair, and cannot believe how bad customer service has become. Their motto "If it is not right we will make it right" is not true.

Their online department needs work
Have contacted this dealership multiple times to have my email removed from their ads but they have done nothing. Someone signed up using the wrong email address and I cannot stop their emails. Shoddy.

Review your paperwork very closely!!!!
We had a shocking horrible buying experience at Dave Sinclair Ford. Our Salesperson, Denny Willard was very helpful and nice. Long story short we had agreed upon a price after trade in that was to be inclusive of all Dave Sinclair charges which was documented on an "offer sheet". When the purchase paperwork was being completed the charges for cost of getting license plates and title transfer listed under "tags" seemed extremely high. This amount changed three times as the paperwork was redone. When we requested to pay those fees directly to the state ourselves, the dealership refused to honor the agreed upon deal. Word of advice is to review your paperwork very closely and know what you are getting charged for. Beware!!!!!!
