I’ve never had an issue with putting a deposit down on a car and picking it up on another date until this purchase. Was told that the car could not be held even with a deposit.

I want to be clear that my son is happy with the vehicle and the employees that helped me were very nice, but I am very disappointed that I was not allowed to put a deposit down on the vehicle and pick it up on Saturday. I have never had this issue before at any dealership including Chapman and this was my 10th purchase from Chapman. Due to this experience it may very well be my last.

Smooth Servicing

Serviced car due to Ford Motors factory recalls...dealer reviewed all, took care of the ones that applied and checked all other operations. Completed a front end alignment that had been undiscovered earlier as well as completing the recall servicing. They kept me updated and finished the jobs faster than expected.

Horrible sales & service

Went to this dealer in early Jan 2023 to look at a 2020 Explorer ST. They had in their lot out front. Wanted to compare it to another 2020 Explorer Platinum just down the road at Autolenders. Was in sales area for a while with no one there. Several people walked by and my wife and I were ignored. I was eventually approached & was told that we could check it out ONLINE! xxx! Had to DEMAND to look at the suv! I ended up buying the 2020 Explorer Platinum at Autolenders for $46k, with only 9k miles after test driving numerous other comparable 2-3 yr old suvs. First week we had it we noticed that the foot motion activation didn't work. Brought it to Chapman Ford being the closest for warranty covered service. Their Service is just as bad as their sales! 1st appt. they said it was sensors & had to order them. 2nd appt. they said sensors didn't fix it & had to order a module. 3rd appt., AFTER I had dropped it of they called me a couple hours later & said they had the wrong module. Kept free rental overnight. Which they provided ONLY after I requested a rental when picking up after 2nd appt. And, on the next day..., after overnighting the proper module, FINALLY, the tailgate motion activation was fixed. STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALER FOR SALES OR SERVICE!!!
